- Jacob SPasig, Philippines4 contributionsThis is one of the best shops for souvenirs. From paintings, wood carvings, unique masks, magnets and instruments- this place has amazing and varied choices. The staff are also friendly, knowledgeable of their products and are lovely to talk to. Definitely a must visit in the town of Moshi.Written August 26, 2023This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of Tripadvisor LLC. Tripadvisor performs checks on reviews.
- Natasha T1 contributionWe spent at least 3 hours with Good Luck 🍀 in the store and walked away with a new friend. Our visit was very educational on both ends. He was very gracious to spend so much time with us to select the stones that were right for us. He is very knowledgeable and passionate about tanzanite. It was a very pleasant experience and we will definitely be back.Written January 4, 2025This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of Tripadvisor LLC. From the moment you pass through the door you immediatly notice the shop was built with a lot of care and dedication. Every singe piece of jewelery and every painting is very creative and one of a kind. Not only you get to explore everything, you also get to make your own jewelery and so there’s something for every taste. But the Highlight of this visit was definitely Emanuel himself. Emanuel is a great guy - very passionate about what he does, a great storyteller with a very interesting life so far and also a very sharp sense of humour. We spent over 3 hours in his shop just exchanging stories, making souvenirs to take back home, laughing and listening to afro beats and we would do it all over again.
If you are in Moshi, definitely pay Emanuel and his shop a visit, get to know him, and I promise it will be worth your while!Written August 20, 2024This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of Tripadvisor LLC. Kilimanjaro in April, the women of the Co-operative greeted me and our team and gave each of us colorful Kilimanjaro wristbands as congratulatory gifts. I wear the wrist band nearly every day and I cannot thank them enough for their thoughtfulness. Afterwards, I purchased numerous items for gifts from their selection of items and they were all big hits back home. Thanks again for your kindness and I am happy to have contributed to such a worthy cause.Written July 24, 2017This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of Tripadvisor LLC. - Eric B10 contributionsDefinitely the best gift shop I visited while in Tanzania. The most kind staff imaginable. And the fairest prices. Really a well organized, easy to navigate and good quality store. I could not recommend this place more. Best prices in Moshi and all of northern Tanzania to be completely honest.Written October 11, 2024This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of Tripadvisor LLC. - Serhan A2 contributionsDuring my four-day stay in Moshi I visited the city's major markets and many souvenir and book shops. Solomon, in his early 20s, was the only shop keeper that had fixed prices on the items sold in his shop, which, in fact, were more tourist friendly than elsewhere. Furthermore, he was very informative and helpful and last but not least candid: he showed which items were produced in Tanzania which were not, so that I could buy authentic souvenirs that were made in Tanzania. I discovered Sanaa Zetu by chance. Finding it is neither easy nor mission impossible. As you walk from the Clock Tower to Moshi Book Shop, on the right side of the road you will see the Arcade. Enter the Arcade and Solomon's souvenir shop will be on your right just a few steps ahead - next to a small book shop.Written May 11, 2017This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of Tripadvisor LLC. - An H26 contributionsA bag cost like 250$!!! Beautifull but not worth at all! I am living here for two months, a piece of leather cost you like 25000 tsh, a fundi cost you another 25000 tsh to make it, in total a 25$. It seems like somebody wants to earn a lot of money on the heads of the locals.Written August 26, 2017This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of Tripadvisor LLC.
