We visited the lagoon as part of a tour with GOT Salt Bolivia and I could have stayed here for hours just watching these beautiful birds in this amazing setting.
After ups and downs in a very bad road, we found a sight from heaven full of flamingos and a gorgeous landscape!

Driving past gorgeous snow-laden volcanoes, high-altitude lakes, stunning rock formations and the unique wildlife were some of the things that elevated my experience of the Bolivian altiplano.
Beautiful area with amazing views and rock formations.

Our adventure group stopped at this lagoon for a lunch break and we had a picnic looking out at all the flamingos feeding in the lake.
Any lagoon that has flamingos on the Uyuni tours is worth stopping at (if you like flamingo's, I guess?).

Laguna Blanca is a beautiful laguna that appears white due to minerals in the water and with the reflection of the clouds and surrounding landsacpe is absolutely breathtaking.
We went to Laguna Blanca a couple weeks ago as part of our tour from Uyuni (on the morning we were headed back to Uyuni) and it was gorgeous but it was just too cold for me to spend much time admiring the lagoon.

We visited a small museum at the little town at the base and then drove up to the level where you park and take a very easy hike to see the mummies .
