Plenty of wildlife - seals, an eagle with an 8 foot wing span close to its nest, sea birds..excellent commentary and easy to hear anywhere on board, even with strong winds, and an exillerating trip.
They do a great tour round the Summer Isles and have a stop at Tanera Mhor for about an hour where the Post Office puts on free coffee and cake for the boat trippers which I thought was excellent of them.

Spectacular scenery including plenty of geographical features for those wishing to see some limestone features!
... if you're a but iffy on heights and you manage it :) only downside is that the carpark is barely signposted so you just have to know roughly where it is and stop when you see lots of cars by the roadside!

Well organised trip, Ben and Rosie went out of their way to make everyone welcome and the scenery was fantastic, highly recommend McKenzie Mountaineering.
I did a solo West Highland Way tour and met Ben, Rosie and their dog Corrie who were guiding a very nice and diverse group on the WHW.

Some spectacular views of the Summer Isles and the ferry when it's coming in or going out to Stornaway, along with Loch Broom.
Great place to walk

Laurie who took our group of 11 was very knowledgeable about the area, the wildlife, the salmon farming and the hedge-fund manager who is building a resort on one of the islands.
We had a great 2 hour trip around the Summer Isles and saw porpoises, seals and a Minke whale!

The planting includes both deciduous and coniferous trees from various countries and the contrasting autumn colours are superb.
We returned here in late April having last been here in the autumn and it was a pleasure to enjoy the trees in the spring - with new leaves appearing.

Excellent boats and kit, great leader, lots of top tips and local knowledge about the area, wildlife and sea life.
Jules has been great (good fun, encouraging and excellent training) and paddling in the north west of Scotland is beautiful.

Will is a brilliant guide - efficient at kitting you out and getting you on the water pdq, lots of helpful hints on paddling technique as you kayak along, and a wonderful commentary on the local geology and wildli...
We came across Kayak Summer Isles on Instagram after spotting some of Wills positively tropical photos of the Scottish coastline and it's inhabitants.
