- Harry M86 contributionsReally cool caves and well worth doing if you are in the area. We weren’t expecting much but it was safe to say the caves exceeded our expectations so would definitely recommend. Nice cafe and restaurant at the top with a lovely viewWritten March 13, 2025This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of Tripadvisor LLC. - JohnlobsterMorpeth, UK2,632 contributionsOften go here when staying in nearby nerja. Clean beach with good public toilet facilities. Water shallow and clear. Plenty of available sunbeds for hire. Lots of first class restaurants and eateries.Written November 10, 2024This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of Tripadvisor LLC. Tripadvisor performs checks on reviews.
- JennSeMalaga, Spain32 contributionsScenic hiking trail with clips , stones in different sizes and clear running water, small pools and waterfalls.trees hanging over the river- Rio Chillar. 2km dry road from the entrance to reach the water, then around 4km walk in the up to knees high water, but most part of the trail you can walk beside the river above the water when the water lever is low.Written April 20, 2024This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of Tripadvisor LLC. We paid €72 for the show, one drink each and a plate of meats.
The show was great but only lasted about an hour and a quarter. The food was nice but only a snack so don't rely on it as your main evening meal. The bar is cash only and we paid €8 for a glass of wine and bottle of beer.
Overall, it was worth it to see the dancing but probably not the best value of money ever.Written July 10, 2024This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of Tripadvisor LLC. I’m not sure what style you would call it, probably over the top baroque? The nativity scene is lovely.Written December 14, 2024This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of Tripadvisor LLC. Tripadvisor performs checks on reviews.
- chicajulesMalaga, Spain33 contributionsThe beach is stunning and well worth a visit. But be warned that if you buy a return ticket for the shuttle bus make sure you show your ticket to the driver before you get back on the bus to go back to the top. Today my friend and I got turfed off the bus because we got on the bus before the driver checked our tickets. I showed him our tickets to prove we'd payed but he insisted that we get off the bus and wait until he'd dropped off at the top. In the meantime he sold new tickets to other passengers and allowed them to travel up and left us at the bottom. He was really rude to us and there was another passenger on the bus shouting abuse. Not a very nice experience and a bad end to a really nice day.Written September 14, 2022This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of Tripadvisor LLC. - Off their PManchester, UK4,050 contributionsIf you want to central for beach as you haven’t got a car and something a bit quieter than this could be a place.
It is only very small but Central and, as you expect, very beautiful. The water is calm and there are far less people here than most of the beaches around.
The compromise to this is that it is a little bit difficult to get to and has less facilities than most of the beaches. This makes it ideal for a couple of hours with your towel and your book rather than alongStay with sun loungers, restaurants and so on.Written September 9, 2021This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of Tripadvisor LLC. - Andy R18 contributionsAmazing structure, unfortunately someone built a new flyover in front of it, it can be difficult to get photos. - Off their PManchester, UK4,050 contributionsDepending on what you are looking for exactly this could be the beach for you. It is very centrally located which is a benefit in one way but does mean that it gets very busy in the high season.
Having said that, it is very lovely and great to spend an hour or two relaxing in such beautiful surroundings. The beach itself is kept very clean and their own excellent facilities everywhere.
However, we preferred a little more relaxation so we used to go to the beach is a little further out of town as we had a car.Written September 21, 2022This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of Tripadvisor LLC. Tripadvisor performs checks on reviews.
