This is only a small zoo, but we found it an enjoyable couple of hours. The animals they have are in decent looking enclosures, which look to mimic their natural habitats and seem fairly spacious. The apes are a notable feature and look happy and healthy, and are close enough to watch easily. And the layout for the humans is also well thought out. Don't expect a full day experience with elephants and giraffes, but there are apes and big cats and it's worth a visit.

It has a wonderful beach front and Promenade that is very walkable, however, just one block back is where the real charm, (starts), is to be found. A Spanish neighbourhood, with many tapas bars, cafes and authentic restaurants to tempt any visitor. A visit to the coast is not complete without enjoying a stroll down the main street.

The market was very well located in the center of the city. I have like the selection of products being offered. The only inconvenience was the heat and the lack of covered areas

Found this shopping centre and had a very good experience. Lots and lots of clothing shops and food outlets. Some of the shops I have never seen or heard of before mine but lots of sales on. Defo recommend a visit.

This is a lovely square located in the centre of Fuengirola, the centre piece is the Virgen Parroquial Church del Rosario, built in the mid 1800's, there is plenty of seating and shade to enjoy whilst watching the world go by, the square is also home of the Monument to the Constitution.

Part of the Costa del Sol, in our opinion, the best part, the beach itself is well serviced with toilets, sun lounges, parasols and beachside grills, which just adds to the enjoyment.

This walk literally goes for ever, it is flat, plenty of things to see along the way, many beachside grills to enjoy, public toilets are spread along the walk, there are outside gyms to keep the fitness junkies entertained, all in all it is an amazing part of the beach front.

These days the castle is a shell of its former self, making very popular in holding concerts and festivals.

It was built in the 956 AD, as coastal defence by Abdr-ar Rahman, definitely worth a visit during a coastal walk.

A small square that is literally all restaurants and bars, with terraces, very popular with locals and tourists alike, especially on a Sunday, definitely worth a visit at least once.

The theatre is situated just off the plaza de constitution. Has a bar and food service at its entrance and offers a variety of excellent, professional shows. We’ve seen two with the this this weekend. Well worth the entrance price

Spanning roughly 90 meters across the the river fuengirola, this pedestrian bridge just adds to the wonderful walkway of the Maritimo promenade, there is awesome walking to be had along the river, as well, (piccies attached), heading to the Miramar Shopping Centre.

I visited this with my 7 year old daughter and we had a great time, 11 Euro each for 1 hour was really good value and an hour was definitely long enough. This was really good fun and much easier than a similar inflatable in Estepona. I would definitely recommend coming here. Free parking was available near the pedestrian bridge about 10 minutes walk away.

Pleasant wide stretch of beach near fuengirola.
Clean and tidy, plenty of sandy space, and there was no crowding today, during a hot July day.
