The Night Tour with Tracie The Bug Lady
#5 of 5 things to do in Drake Bay
Our family of four (2 adults, 2 teenage girls) spent a memorable evening with Tracie and her husband Gian a few weeks ago while we stayed at La Paloma.
The entire family of four (kids aged 7 and 10) thoroughly enjoyed the tour, despite some pretty torrential rainfall towards the end.

Captain Willy and mates Ever & Alonzo were very knowledgable, helpful and patient with my kids (9&10).
At the time, my kids were 7 and 4. We found the boat and the crew to be very family friendly and they made sure that we were comfortable and having a good time.

I would highly recommend this trip to families with children of any age, as well as couples!
Our family (parents and kids 6,10,13) visited for the second year.

A really generous and hospitable family - pay them a visit!!
As we were slowed down by families and did not go for a third trail because of some (naturally) slower children on our tour.
2 Ways to experience it
Playa San Josecito

Beautiful beach with a protected shoreline, so even kids can easily swim here as the waves break further out.
This is a beautiful beach, which is clean and safe for small children very little current or large waves

It was a fun experience and one that made us laugh like little kids.
The whole family is very laid back yet excited to be alive.
