It was a cold, rainy, and very windy day. The field itself is beautiful. Parking is super easy. The concessions don’t keep up with the other parks but it’s a great place to see a game.

Well appointed regional library with excellent selection of magazines and newspapers. The reading area allows you to look over the community lake, but with indoor air conditioning to defeat the heat.

Being new to the area, we wanted to see this pool complex & get ready for their May opening. Didn't get into the locker rooms or onto the deck, but the clean layout looks very nice.
Bleachers, water slide, water toys, grass areas, snack bar, eating tables, & shaded areas to recover from the blazing sun all looked inviting from the fencing.
They maintain the pool for all the swim teams & instructors year round, but afternoon open swim will start on 5/25. It'll be HOT . . .
Easy to find too - follow the signs to Surprise Stadium. It's across the street with tons of parking.

when we were children and would stop by the roadside citrus stands. Super nice and friendly people, clean, beautiful fruit trees, and even some honey and cactus for sale. There is nothing like fresh picked oranges!! Yum!!

Was here for a National USTA tournament. They have 25 courts and a nice larger sunken center court. There is not a lot of cover from the hot sun, but the days we were there there was a slight breeze to help and some cloud cover. The locker room is clean. The clubhouse was ok with some indoor seating. Wish they would've sold more food items...really only snacks there. Not a big selection of tennis clothing sold there, but a few things. Overall a nice facility with so many courts.

Rotating art exhibitions in a beautiful space that feels open but intimate at the same time. Next to it, there’s a cute patio with benches, trees and sculptures. Perfect for photos or just to hang out with a book when the weather is right.
At the entrance, you’ll find a nice gift shop with unique works from local artist.

I flew in to AZ to visit with a friend and she planned a Poetry Slam at WHAM. It was her first and she planned to read a poem. It was also my first and I decided to read an essay from my blog. First, WHAM is a lovely little art gallery for local artisans. It also has studios and art classes. 2nd, the poetry slam was well organized, with snacks and drinks provided. Several teens showed up and read, which I thought was pretty incredible! The environment felt safe and allowed me to read without feeling panicked or judged. I just felt safe and people were engaged. Just a lovely evening!

Great destination for cooling off in the old Town area between Bell & Grand. Water slide, water toys, & spray jets really make the kids busy.

Not worth $80.00, many other courses to play for that kind of money. Course is in decent shape, but the cost is ridiculous for how slow it plays with no course marsha1l.
Plan on a 5 to 51/2 hour round if you play there.

Granite Falls has two 18 hole courses (North and South). Both located in the beautiful community of Sun City Grand. These courses are 'private country club quality'. You will be challenged and enjoy the layouts. There is a snack shop and also Coco's and Angela's restaurants within the community. Recommend Angela's for good burgers and a beautiful patio overlooking Desert Springs 9th hole. Just a very short drive from Granite Falls pro shop (no more than a mile). Do it.
