Not a bad seat in the stadium. I'd give it an "excellent" rating if they had a bigger variety of food options at the concession stands.

We routinely visit and borrow books and DVDs. The employees are always friendly and very helpful. I highly recommend this library.

when we were children and would stop by the roadside citrus stands. Super nice and friendly people, clean, beautiful fruit trees, and even some honey and cactus for sale. There is nothing like fresh picked oranges!! Yum!!

Was here for a National USTA tournament. They have 25 courts and a nice larger sunken center court. There is not a lot of cover from the hot sun, but the days we were there there was a slight breeze to help and some cloud cover. The locker room is clean. The clubhouse was ok with some indoor seating. Wish they would've sold more food items...really only snacks there. Not a big selection of tennis clothing sold there, but a few things. Overall a nice facility with so many courts.

Being new to the area, we wanted to see this pool complex & get ready for their May opening. Didn't get into the locker rooms or onto the deck, but the clean layout looks very nice.
Bleachers, water slide, water toys, grass areas, snack bar, eating tables, & shaded areas to recover from the blazing sun all looked inviting from the fencing.
They maintain the pool for all the swim teams & instructors year round, but afternoon open swim will start on 5/25. It'll be HOT . . .
Easy to find too - follow the signs to Surprise Stadium. It's across the street with tons of parking.

I flew in to AZ to visit with a friend and she planned a Poetry Slam at WHAM. It was her first and she planned to read a poem. It was also my first and I decided to read an essay from my blog. First, WHAM is a lovely little art gallery for local artisans. It also has studios and art classes. 2nd, the poetry slam was well organized, with snacks and drinks provided. Several teens showed up and read, which I thought was pretty incredible! The environment felt safe and allowed me to read without feeling panicked or judged. I just felt safe and people were engaged. Just a lovely evening!

Great destination for cooling off in the old Town area between Bell & Grand. Water slide, water toys, & spray jets really make the kids busy.

Rotating art exhibitions in a beautiful space that feels open but intimate at the same time. Next to it, there’s a cute patio with benches, trees and sculptures. Perfect for photos or just to hang out with a book when the weather is right.
At the entrance, you’ll find a nice gift shop with unique works from local artist.

Nice place to see a movie. One line for movie tickets and snacks which is kind of different but it works. We always buy popcorn and drinks so we don't mind the combination of the lines. Love the reclining seats. I always bring a sweater or jacket.

I have had several dinners at Irish Wolf Hound. I generally have the Corned Beef and Cabbage which is the BEST I have ever eaten ANYWHERE! The chicken Boxty and Shepherds Pie is also very good. At lunch, try the Reuben Sliders. Excellent! It's a great restaurant and also a great pub. Always good service. Entertainment in the evenings and the place TO BE on St. Patrick's Day. If you go on St. Patrick's Day, get a ticket in advance and arrive early. A tent is added to accommodate more people, but it will sell out. Entertainment all day.

This was our 3rd or 4th visit to Uptown Alley. Let me start by saying we love this place for bowling which is why we go. However went there September 7th with our adult son who is visiting us from out of town. I guess our mistake was going on a Saturday morning. There were a couple children's birthday parties so as expected it was noisy and you had a bunch of super sugar fueled excited kids, what we didn't expect was what took place when they put a
party next to us. The kids were kids, but they were going up on the lane 3 and 4 at a time, they were goofing around on the lane while we were trying to bowl, running over in front of us as we were on the lane, running through our seating area and it goes on. The biggest problem in my opinion, the parents, you are there to supervise and teach. Unfortunately this was not our experience, they did nor said anything. We have taken our grandkids here when they were in town over the summer and yes they tried to bowl without waiting but their parents took it as a teaching experience. Will I go again yes, will i go on Saturday morning absolutely not.

Really good semi-private set of golf courses. North has a great deal of personality while the So Course is easier.

Good pro-shop, Coco’s Restaurant next to course. Courses usually in excellent condition

I golf here several times a year, and do like the course. During a Girls Golf Trip last week, we golfed here, and noticed a few things. First, the colored markers for teeing off need to be repainted. We were golfing the silver, and it was hard to tell between the black and them. Also, the bottle of water in the car is appreciated, but it would be nice if there was a water jug at some other holes to fill up the original bottle, or our own. Third, the "sand" traps need more rakes and sand that is not so close to gravel. Thanks for listening!
