He is quite the storyteller with lots of interestimg informatiom about not only the Sonoran Preserve but Arizona as well. The space between drivers allowed for speed to be added which made the tour much more fun. At the halfway point we stopped, and water and snacks were offered. The Guides took photos for us. He was so patient and thorough with instructions, he was constantly checking in, making sure we were ok and staying hydrated. He told us some cool stories. The UTVs were SO MUCH FUN. We can’t wait to go on another adventure with David. It was about a 3 hour drive from Scottsdale to the Grand Canyon which wasn’t bad at all and our driver was very knowledgeable on everything about Arizona and made the driver very interesting and entertaining. We especially loved the stories that he told us on the way. Once we got to the Grand Canyon, we had a wonderful excursion of the Grand Canyon. We loved it! Meals were included and were tasty. On the way back to Scottsdale, we took the scenic route to Sedona and stopped at a scenic point to take pictures. It was our first time seeing Sedona and the red rocks were breathtaking. I highly recommend taking this tour to the Grand Canyon because they know all the points of interest for the best pictures and, best of all, somebody else is doing the driving. - Brandon MChandler, AZ1 contributionWe were on the Sonoran Desert guided ATV Adventure tour with a group of good friends who play football together and a handful of parents to celebrate one of the boy's 17th birthdays. From start to finish It was an amazing experience that ended with a bit of a twist. The guides Chad and Tom were knowledgeable, engaging, and focused on providing a fun and safe experience for the group. Safety is clearly important to the Stellar Adventures team, and they took the time to explain how to operate the 4-wheelers and even more time talking about the importance of safety and the potential risks on the trail. I have worked in the construction industry for over 23 years and personally believe that sending everyone home safe is the most important thing we do every day. It was clear that the Stellar Adventures team has a similar mindset and they provided additional guidance and safety briefings throughout the tour.
Sometimes there are things that are out of your control......such as going around a corner too fast and launching yourself into a Cholla cactus at 30+ MPH like my son did. Aside from the thousands of cactus barbs stuck in every part of his body, he was ok. Everyone jumped in to help out, removing the cactus from his hands, face, rear, leg, ankle and just about every other part of his body other than his head and eyes which were protected by the helmet and goggles. There was an opportunity for them to say "I told you so", but that was not the approach. What we got was help, care, and true compassion. My son is doing fine, and we are lucky to walk away with good life lesson and a memory that none of us will ever forget.

- Lance B1 contributionColton was our tour guide and he was amazing. Professional and safe. He did a great job. This was our third experience with Stellar Adventures and each trip just keeps getting better. We have done ATV tours in the past but this trip we opted for the UTV. We were not disappointed. Everything from start to finish was great and the kiddos have not stopped talking about it. We were hesitant to go in the AZ summer but the team kept us cool and hydrated. Great experience for all levels of off roading experience. My advice is start of slow to get comfortable with the equipment; which the team is happy to accommodate. - Lisa E3 contributionsThis was our first trek into the desert; Kevin was our guide. He was very knowledgeable about the area and provided us with a lot of history. We stopped and got some great sunset pictures and the views of the cactus silhouettes against the darkening skies were amazing. But best of all, my 13 yo son was determined to see as many desert creatures as possible, even though it was a cold November evening. Kevin made it happen!! He found a rattlesnake, a tarantula and glowing scorpions! Made my son's week!!
