- Shannan BMeridian, ID7 contributionsI had a sugar scrub and massage with Tess. She was so kind, shared creative ways to relieve stress. Showed me stretches I could do for tight neck muscles. I love her energy, she gave an incredible massage and was so genuine. - Miranda J2 contributionsI've been coming here for a couple years now and I love it and I recommend this spa to everyone I know! My 2 hour massage that I had was absolutely amazing! I'm not sure of the name of the massage therapist I had but she was wonderful. She got all the knots and tension out of my neck and shoulders and she really paid attention to detail and listened to all my concerns. The pool area with launch chairs, food and beverage service, and mountain views helps to set this apart from other spa locations. The indoor spa area is also lovely and mellow from the moment you enter the spa area. There are curated zhen moments including writing the days intentions in a stone upon entering the spa. The added touch of the sea salt scrub at the hand wash station is an especially lovely touch to enjoy. The jacuzzi, steam room, sauna, shower, and locker room areas were all clean, well maintained, and attended through the day. The staff at the spa, the therapist, and pool attendants were all friendly and attentive. - LMSSports9 contributionsI called a couple of days in advance and booked two appointments. When we arrived, we were greeted immediately and shown around. Upon putting on a cozy robe and slippers, we filled out the paperwork in their sunny, warm meditating room. Soft Hawaiian music played in the background.
We were brought back to our rooms and had a short consultation with our masseuse about health concerns and treatment preferences. I was assisted by Cameron Brunch and he was wonderful. Very experienced and knowledgeable about the power of massage and reflexology. Upon completion, Cameron made sure I was hydrated and we talked through some post massage best practices.
They have two nice shower bays which was great because after a massage it feels so good to rinse off the oil and bask in the warmth of a hot shower. Hairdryer available upon request.
The staff was helpful and welcoming. We received a first time visitor price which was a great deal. The room decor is tantalizing with hardwood floors, natural light, comfy furniture, chandelier lighting, fireplaces, and some rooms with large copper soaking tubs. A wealth of services include: massages, facials, body treatments, Vichy shower treatments, custom spa packages and use of a fitness center, jacuzzi and resort pools. For a real splurge, I treated myself to the La Vidorra Experience which kicks off with a detoxifying soak in a copper bathtub filled with mineral rich water followed by an exfoliating treatment and full body massage. A spa deck for relaxation, it features Hot Stone Massages, & Antioxidant facials complemented by saunas equipped with chromotherapy. and in addition, a fitness center provides workspace overlooking 2 pools and signature spa treatments like the Royal Treatment where they pretty well throw the kitchen sink at you or the Cloud Nine: a package that pairs a classic massage with a signature facial. They do a thorough intake interview and then tailor your experience with a strong customer focus. Little details are attended such as cold tea on arrival and hot tea post-massage. A dental hygienist and those are my tightest spots! I feel so good after and now I get to relax in the beautiful newly renovated lounge areas. They have these amazing feel massagers, I wanna order one for home they are so awesome! The indoor hot tub is great. There is a great outdoor pool and hot tub to enjoy this AZ sun! Also the Steam room is my favorite and they have a sauna if you like those. All around 5 star experience! Gigi at the women’s side check in is very sweet, very attentive ! The 12000 sq. ft. facility is equipped with 4 indoor and 3 outdoor treatment rooms, beauty salon, outdoor hydrotherapy room, eucalyptus room, steam rooms, relaxation room, well appointed lockers, state-of-the-art fitness centre, private spa pool and spa dinner. The spa offers a comprehensive array of treatments that use native ingredients and nourish the body and soul like the Sonoran Scrub where you can choose desert salt, agave-infused sugar or mesquite buffing seeds. Other treatments included with the extensive menu range from the Himalayan Stone Salt and a Prickly Pear Body Wrap to a Desert's Dreaming Ritual.
