- Andries JEngland, UK3 contributionsFrom Bariloche, we rode a bus to Pampas Linda, where we hiked to the 300-foot-tall waterfalls that flow from the Castano Overa glacier on Mount Tronador. The entire journey through a beautiful old growth forest was breathtaking. The nine miles round trip hike is comparatively easy, with perhaps only a thousand feet of elevation gain. The bus ride's lake and forest scenery was equally breathtaking. There are several lovely campgrounds along the lakeshore, so we wish we had planned to camp and spend more time here.Written July 10, 2024This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of Tripadvisor LLC. - grahamrsimmsHong Kong, China157 contributionsMy friend and I hiked to the summit, it was a tough hike but worth it. The views are really incredible and it was good exercise, if a little tough at times. We decided to get the cable car down but when we arrived (an hour before closing) we were told we could not buy tickets as the ticket offices were closed. This seemed a bit ridiculous as there were many empty cars and many staff really not doing anything. Hugely disappointing end to a great hike.Written March 6, 2024This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of Tripadvisor LLC. Tripadvisor performs checks on reviews.

- Rochelle FRandolph, NJ1,144 contributionsWe took the Boat Cau Car to Isla Victoria where we did the short hike, saw the little area for the Arrayanes trees, endemic trees to the area. Our guide gave us history and tour of the area.
We also visited the Bosque Arrayanes on this boat excursion.

The boat rides are an incredible way to see all the views and the hike up to the Cascada (waterfall) de los Cantaros is a good one. We did the hike along the lake from Puerto Blest to the waterfall (about a 45 min walk/hike with gorgeous views) and then up to the waterfall. The trip up to the waterfall is on wooden walkways with LOTS of steps. Not easy, but if you take you time totally do-able if you are in ok physical shape (i.e. you don't need to be an athlete). LOVED this!Written March 28, 2022This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of Tripadvisor LLC. Tripadvisor performs checks on reviews.
- Gabriel MMontevideo Department, Uruguay33 contributionsDespite it is not a too elder building, less than 100 years, it is the image of Bariloche City, and it deserves a visit and some pics too. The Bariloche main street (Calle Mitre) begins in this square. There you will find many restaurants and stores.Written May 12, 2024This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of Tripadvisor LLC. Tripadvisor performs checks on reviews.
- Georgia LDallas, TX1,246 contributionsWe visited the ski resort in the summer time. It’s a beautiful area with lots of good hiking. We drove up from the lodge where we were staying and it was very accessible.Written January 16, 2022This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of Tripadvisor LLC. - Rochelle FRandolph, NJ1,144 contributionsCute little bohemian area with lots of food trucks and little shops that are fun to walk around in. I was amazed at how long the line for the bus was. This is a popular place. We wandered around and had a coffee, looked at the artisan shops (and there are all lots of places selling knickknacks or as my husband would call it junk).
