Excellent experience to get a taste of Argentinian food and meet new people. Hosts are great! I am allergic to dairy and they provided ingredients and dishes dairy free. Food is also great. I totally recommend this activity.

We were greeted by Flower, the woman who was showing us how to make empanadas. She was very welcoming into the kitchen, There were only two couples which made the cooking a lot easier to see and understand. If there had been more people in the tour, it would not have been as effective. We learned how to make empanadas from scratch. She showed us, made us partake in the preparation. Then we all had to make empanadas. Of course, we were having wine while making the empanadas. What was great is that we got to take the empanadas with us when we left. Flower was a great instructor.

We had read great reviews of this tour so had high expectations - Toni exceeded them! We had SUCH a wonderful evening, and the best food we ate during our entire trip was that night. Our restaurant stops included a "secret" restaurant that was only open to those "in the know" and connected somehow. Toni was extremely knowledgeable (and interesting) - will definitely book another tour when we return.

Today is our 10th day getting to know Buenos Aires. As you might imagine, by now we have eaten at the best parrillas in town. But we always put significant effort during our travels to find a truly authentic, locally owned and operated cooking class that can top off our appreciation for the gastronomic arts and traditions of a place.

With The Asado Experience, we hit a bullseye!!! Everything about the class was top notch and flawlessly executed. Best setting, best meat cuts, best equipment, best wine, best instructors, etc., etc. I cannot exaggerate de absolute care and perfection of how Belén and her team executed this event!!

With "all 5s" reviews, my expectations were high, and this class still manage to exceed them. Bravo!!

What I was NOT expecting, was to come out of this class with a set of new AWESOME FRIENDS. Around the parrilla Argentinans, Indians, Americans, Colombians, and Serbians bonded for life. I'm totally serious. Be ready to become culturally enriched, and to grow a new set of friends from all over the world. Wow!

God bless you Belén. You offer the absolutely right experience for teaching the best parrilla techniques, and for making this world a better, friendlier place!!!

Lyubi Spichkey was an amazing host and knew everything and anything about coffee. I really had no idea of the things she was telling me about coffee because many people just drink what they think taste good. She was extremely knowledgeable and helpful with recommendations while I was staying in Argentina. Unfortunately I met her at the downward part of my trip, really wish she was the first one. But I would definitely recommend and have made a new friend.. You won't regret the tour.

My boyfriend and I had an amazing time with Constanza and Manolo. We learned how an Argentine asado is setup and how to cook different cuts of meats. We also learned how to make corn empanadas, which I haven’t had before. The recipe was so simple and the empanadas turned out so delicious, I can’t wait to make them when we are back in NYC. Constanza and Manolo were such generous and welcoming hosts. Their home is impeccable. My boyfriend and I learned so much during our time with Constanza and Manolo. This was an unforgettable experience. Thank you!

Four of spent a wonderful evening with Gabriela and Patricia learning the tricks of making empanadas. We were greeted with a nice beverage and after some socialization, headed to the kitchen. Great fun! We must have been successful as we really enjoyed our resulting dinner. They even fulfilled a special request I made. Both the food we prepared and the wine they served was excellent. We talked until after midnight when our hosts made sure we got a taxi back to our hotel. We feel as we now have new friends in Buenos Aires.

There were two couples in our group and we were welcomed warming by Florencia upon arrival in her attractive apartment and wonderful kitchen. We quickly doned aprons and got to work, first making empanada dough and then filling the empanadas. We all appreciated how Flor demonstrated different techniques and then mentored us as we did our pastry work. Flor is an excellent teacher and fun to be with, which made for a great evening. We would all recommend Flor's class as a wonderful introduction to some of Argentina's best foods--empanadas and alfajores.
