We bought VIP tickets.
We had upper level seating. The view was great. The show was very good. Very professional and they obviously know what they are doing, and performed it flawlessly.
The service was very good as well. Cesar was very attentive, kind and had a good sense of humor. We were looked after very well.
I would like to add this, though.
We originally booked the shuttle.
However. The shuttle wanted to pick us up far too early for when we wanted to be there.
So we decided to drive.
We were a little apprehensive, as the site suggested not going there on your own. Implying it may be a little dangerous.
We found it to be the exact opposite.
We found a parking spot right across the street.

Great location!
The music is very loud, very difficult to have a conversation, seating is also a bit of a challenge, no many options to sit for 4 people

Pizzas looked and smelt amazing - I had already eaten dinner. Drinks are affordable and good value.

So when we first arrived it did feel a bit odd being the only ones there, however after enjoying some wine we realised we had front row, uninterrupted views, to a private performance and we really enjoyed it. There are several acts. A crooner singing old Argentine songs, a modern swing singer, an elton John type perfomer on the keyboard, and obviously a tango display. All artists were very good and there were plenty of opportunities to have photos. The entrance fee is a bit steep but it does include several hours of performance so not that bad. Our travel agent booked the 4 of us at the Esquina Carlos Gardel Tango show house. What a great choice. We absolutely LOVED our evening. We talked to other guests at our hotel & they were booked at other venues & were not very pleased with the performances. Met lots of really cool people and had a really good time. This is a euphemism. It is old and grotty and kind of falling apart. It’s in an old church and the floors are crumbling. When you enter, you really do wonder if you’re in the right place. But with that said, it feels really authentic and local. The teachers are skilled and welcoming. It cost 1000 ARS for a lesson and the social dancing afterwards was free. They sell drinks at the bar. - Will ABuenos Aires, Argentina10 contributionsHype is the best party in Buenos Aires when it comes to the music, people and overall vibe. It's one of the only parties that consistently brings international DJs to Argentina and plays multiple genres. Last month Skrillex played a surprise set and completely blew my mind. The international crowd also plays a big part by making it such a fun time since it is one of the only places in BA to hear current hip hop, afrobeats and bass music amongst other things.
