We spent a night in the cabana overnight. It was the most uncomfortable night ever. Inflatable beds partialy deflated during the night, making them very soft and leaving me wit back pain. Every move was noisy and woke the rest of the family up. When we complained, we were told that it is part of the experience and that lot if guests complain. BBQ Dinner, as per schedule for 6-7pm started at 9pm, with fire preparation, we ate at 9.30. Very poor breakfast.
The park is great, clean with lots of rides to chose from, not overcrowded. Will come back for a day for sure not overnight.

    Very genuine fort
More effort could be done to share about the history of Emirate
A spot for pictures from the fort with the sea on the background would be priceless

We stopped here on our way to a staycation at Vida Beach Resort. The UAQ National Museum is only 5 minutes away from the hotel.

The entry fee is only 5AED per person, however they only accept cash and have limited change so please try to take the correct money.

The Fort is very well preserved and gives you a sense of the Emirates history.

Friendly staff and not very busy. Perhaps I'm being harsh, however rated 4 stars as some more explanation of the history is needed and the exhibitions are fairly small.

Would definitely reccomend a visit and you only need 30mins to see the whole Museum.

Off the beaten path -- and somewhat similar to the other museums in restored old forts (e.g. Umm al Quwain city, Ajman, RAK) -- but well worth a visit. It is off the usual tourist path - but well worth a visit.

This is a small museum. The entrance is free. One can see different objects there obtained on the local territory by different researchers. Can be interesting considering the fact that there is not much to see in Umm Al Quwain.)

Nice small and clean Mall in Umm Al Quwain. Big lulu Hypermarket on the ground floor. Not many shops are open. Food court has KFC and Pizza Hut.

Upsetting to see the large wild animals in such small cages/ pens.
Bears padding around endlessly, baboons rocking - all signs of distress.
Goats/rabbits/ducks and donkeys make a good petting zoo for smaller children.

Living and working in the Emirate of Dubai curiosity brought me to a solo trip to Umm Al Quwain for my post birthday celebration. And the reviews I read about Imar Spa before going turned out to be exactly as someone described “A sanctuary for a woman’s soul”. Very few places in UAE generally can offer an “Authentic” feel in everything from the rooms furniture with seashells and beautiful authentic hand-made woodwork to a powerful sense of regaining a “female” energy through Moroccan bath, massage, gym and aquatic pool facilities, greenery and almost untouched wild private beach and such a hospitality, its when the place speaks its history literally to you in everything it is, but with the comfort and technology that is even advanced than in many spas around popular Dubai for example. I honestly felt like an Arabian Princess! I found out that Imar Spa was founded nearly 20 years ago by the Sheikha of Umm Al Quwain and honestly this place makes you feel a certain way, You can sense the “touch” to anything in it at the Sheikha level made with love and authenticity! The services and facilities are so authentic, not commercial for sure and it’s a “pearl” among choices for those who want to actually dive deep into an Arabic culture in a Muslim way and “feel” it through up to your soul and heart and feel beautiful and loved🌺❤️

Took my 9 year old daughter here for some fun and activity when we stayed at the Palma Beach Resort ....we thoroughly enjoyed it and it easily filled an evening. It is also a welcome respite from the summer heat!!!
Point to note is that although you can pay for activities by cash or card you cannot charge to the guest rooms at the Palma Beach Resort.... there is an activity or something for all ages within this complex. They can also put up bumper barriers for young children in the bowling lanes
