A market of mostly used goods where you can find a bargain if you look.
Enjoy an affordable coffee as you stroll down along the train track through the stalls. Some food stalls, delicious samoosas. A market with hardware, tools, books, lots of crockery and glassware, toys, clothes, electrical goods, flowers, hand made goods, random house hold appliances and goods and some furniture.

The treatment was very good, friendly staff and good in marketing the products to be used after the treatment.

Even though we met Hajo at the beginning of the tour, he didn't do the tour himself. We were introduced to Thandile, who was a really great guide. He speaks German and English fluently and is easy to understand. During the tour we stopped in two different townships, in which Thandile also lives. With him we never felt insecure. it was actually the opposite: it was easy to get in touch with the locals. We also visited a community center and a kindergarden, which was very touching.

Of course he also took us to some craft shops, where locals offer their handmade things, but there was no moment when we felt forced to buy anything.

If you are planning to do this tour, ask for Thandile. You a going to have fun and to see many insights of the diverse culture.

Cape Town Ventures made our holiday planning so effortless.
Their friendly and helpful service in booking our accommodation was fast. They took our family's needs into account and found us accommodation that suited both our requirements and budget.
They also assisted us with booking tours in and around the city.
I would recommend them to anyone visiting Cape Town.

I went to the VIP cinema in the waterfront and it was fantastic. I was expecting the same experience in Canal Walk. While the service and the food and the movie were great - it was NOT the same as the waterfront and i paid the same for the tickets. the chairs reclined - that's it - the screen was tiny, there were no tables to put your food or drinks - or the empty plates once you had eaten. If you are going to spend the money to do this, dont make it at Canal Walk.
