- YoWiPretoria, South Africa69 contributionsPhotographers paradise! So many perfect moments for perfect pictures. A must see when in Cape Town. But check weather conditions on their website before you drive there, as the weather changes rapidly.Written January 20, 2025This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of Tripadvisor LLC. - Nick LLondon, UK122 contributionsHas to be done. Wonderful views of Table Mountain, Camps Bay, and the rest of Cape Town. Getting right to the top is not for the feint hearted. I'd say that most people who walk regularly can get to see great views by walking up the footpath but the actual Lions Head climb does require a reasonable level of fitness and confidence. I'm middle aged and above average fitness (according to an App) and I found it challenging. I probably would have been more concerned about the potential risks of falling if it wasn't for everyone else treating it as just another walk in the park. We were up and down in less than 4 hours. Recommend going early or late - it was getting hot by 11am when we came down.Written January 13, 2025This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of Tripadvisor LLC. - TheR939Cardiff, UK106 contributionsGreat trail, a bit of climbing and a lot of scrambling. Guided groups are annoying as they slow you down and have to be pushed to let you through.
Definitely not suitable for anything other than fit and experienced people, especially if it guided. I would take my wife or kids on it.
But for those of us still a bit adventurous keen to get out there, best way up ☺️Written January 18, 2025This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of Tripadvisor LLC. The team at Cape Cobra Hire were helpful and friendly from beginning to end, the car was fun to drive, and the experience of driving an open top V-8 through the Western Cape is like nothing else. Drive Chapman’s Peak down to the Cape of Good Hope for incredible views from the seat of a Cobra and you will have a wonderful time.Written November 24, 2023This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of Tripadvisor LLC. - Victor CNew Delhi, India15 contributionsRiaan helped us 2 days before to book this activity. He gave us a lot of information and was clear in his communication. Our guide Mike was one of the best we have ever had. His knowledge is sooooo on point and he knows every little thing about the mountains and South-African culture! A really passionate guy!Written August 24, 2024This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of Tripadvisor LLC. Tripadvisor performs checks on reviews.
- Birgit4 contributionsAlthough we shared the helicopter with one more passenger which turned out to be an arrogant, bad-mooded princess ( think she was pissed she didn’t get the front seat next to our pilot and she for sure showed it 🤣), it was gorgeous! The lady at the counter was very lovely, even checked with us after the flight how we liked it, our pilot-a young lady as well ( I’m jealous!😏) was just great! She explained a lot, what’s to see, asked everyone if we are ok, we even saw a group of whales. The two of us loved her and the flight!! Thank you guys….I will definitely book again!Written January 15, 2025This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of Tripadvisor LLC. Tripadvisor performs checks on reviews.

- Sam Prinsen14 contributionsAmazing experience, went for the full monty experience and it was so much fun that I went for the 9mm experience afterwards. Everyone was extremely nice and my instructor was super excited and helpful. - Carmel DMelbourne, Australia317 contributionsFrom the start, African Overland Tours were fantastic with their communication. Every question we asked was answered promptly and with enthusiasm. I felt like a real person not a mere number. We travelled with NomadTours for 57 wonderful days and enjoyed the diversity of nine African countries. Don't expect a lot of comfort whilst moving from one location to another, but at every part of the journey we were delighted with what awaited us...wildlife, locals, scenery, experiences! The guides were fabulous and so hard working and accommodation was much better than we expected.Written January 16, 2025This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of Tripadvisor LLC. - Blaithin M6 contributionsWe have just returned from the most amazing trip for our honeymoon and we can’t thank Mahlatini enough for the wonderful service they provided from start to finish.
The trip was so well organised with excellent communication throughout the process from our knowledgeable and experienced travel expert, Donna. Thanks to Ralph also who we dealt with during one part of the trip and who also provided a fantastic service.
We were looking for an extra special, luxury trip for our honeymoon and this trip totally exceeded our expectations. We have returned with the most incredible memories- from an epic Safari, to luxury fantastic accommodation with lots of treats and surprises along the way. We can’t recommend booking a trip with Mahlatini enough!Written January 21, 2025This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of Tripadvisor LLC. We saw seals, dolphins, sun fish and this in itself was an amazing experience….but Paul was able to find a pod of humpback whales and for 50 minutes or so we were able from
a respectful distance, observe these mighty, beautiful creatures as they fed on Krill. It was awesome and we feel privileged to have experienced that.
Paul in particular was kind, thoughtful and frankly the kinda bloke you’d go out for a beer with. You’d probably lose sense of time with him and return home likely the worse for wear but having one of the best nights of your life. So if you’re looking at this review, then don’t think twice, life is to short to miss out on this trip and the opportunity to meet Paul!Written January 10, 2024This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of Tripadvisor LLC.
