Fantastic choices of stores and restaurants/food court. Very clean and safe. Parking is easy with a nominal charge. Highly recommend.

Enjoyed visiting this great shopping centre, with great choice, great atmosphere & lots of natural light. Well worth a visit.

Beautiful jewellery shop at the V&A Waterfront.
We purchased my engagement ring in 2024!
This year, I exchanged it for a slightly larger carat and a new design.
I had been in communication with Suraya several months before we returned to collect it.
Suraya was amazing and made sure my ring was delivered to our accommodation in time before we returned home.
One thing I regret is that, during our stay in Cape Town, we purchased our wedding bands from a cheaper store.
You get what you pay for—the quality does not compare to that of Jack Friedman.
No doubt, next time we visit, we will be contacting Suraya to replace them!

It was my first shopping mall in Cape Town. Nothing special. Like everywhere else. Approximately 90 stores. Clothing stores, shoes, appliances, household goods, a large supermarket. There is a bookstore. I looked with interest at what they read in South Africa. Surprisingly, in addition to shops and traditional mall services like banks, hairdressers and travel agencies, you can find a lawyer, a dentist and even a therapist here. Catering is represented by an Indian restaurant and several cafes (I went not to Piccolo, but to the popular Bootlegger). Apparently, this "All in One Place" format is associated with rampant crime in Cape Town. Locals come here by car (there is a large Parking lot) and then also go home without going outside.

Called into the Golden Acre Shopping Centre on Saturday 09/12/17 while holidaying in Central Cape Town. The Centre is large with 3 levels & somewhat dated, no high end fashion shops & very basic looking shops, mostly window shopping without purchasing anything. Need I say I didn't rush back !

We happened upon this store whle wandering around the shops on Regent Street. It's a lovely place for home goods like baskets, serving pieces, they also carry some jewelry. The main attraction here is the selection of ceramics and textiles, locally sourced. We purchased several pieces and would have bought much more if we had room in our suitcases. They wrapped everything very well and it all survived the trip back to the US. The owner was lovely and very helpful. We will definitely be back on your next trip, with an empty suitcase!
