I can't stress enough how incredible it all felt. Mr. Sello and our tour guide were so warm and welcoming, and their hospitality made the trip unforgettable for my husband and me.
I can still vividly recall the feeling of the cool breeze and warm sun on my face during the safari. The sight of so many animals was breathtaking. Being surrounded by nature truly puts things into perspective and makes you reflect on life. Even though we didn't get to see the king of the jungle, we're already looking forward to coming back for another visit. A huge thank you to MoAfrika for making this safari such a surreal and memorable experience. The audio was very good, clear and informative. The Soweto tour was excellent, though you really need more than 2 hours to do a proper visit of Soweto. But this tour gives you a good flavour. The tour guide (can't remember his name, but his driver was called Linder) was a resident of Soweto and he made it all very exciting. - AJ-AdventurersDurango Mountain, CO19 contributionsWilson was a great guide. He was very knowledgeable and enthusiastic about the knowledge he shared. We started at 9 which is highly recommended because bus loads of kids start arriving at 9:45.
The site is well laid out and very informative. Wilson repeated facts for us that helped reinforced the relationships and time frame.
The boat ride was a bit hokey, but I’m sure kids enjoyed it based on the screams we heard.
The interactive section was also well done.

Even though I was the only participant due to a last-minute cancellation, it turned into a private tour, and it couldn't have been better. I was running late, but the company was incredibly accommodating, which I greatly appreciated. My guide, Joe, was exceptional—his deep knowledge of the history and culture of the areas we visited made every moment fascinating. He also shared insights from his life in South Africa, adding a personal touch that I loved.
Exploring different neighborhoods, admiring the local art, and learning about the origins of each area was truly enriching. The food stops were fantastic—every meal was delicious, with generous portions that will definitely satisfy your appetite. Just be sure to start the tour on an empty stomach! My only wish was for a dessert stop to complete the experience.
Overall, I highly recommend this tour to anyone looking to dive deep into the local culture and history. Organisation was meticulous and every staff member in the team from our pick up in Johannesburg, our guides, the kitchen and lodge staff were amazing. Food was delicious and we met great people from all over the world. This Safari exceeded our expectations and the team are there to make your experience unforgettable. - MaS19 contributionsAn exceptional half day tour. Our driver (Kevin) picked us up early from our hotel. Once at the Mongena reserve within Dinokeng we were able to have some breakfast before Charlie took us out for the morning. Saw loads of animals including lions and white rhinos. Charlie was exceptionally motivated and intelligent, which made for a fantastic time. Stopped for snacks part-way through the safari drive, before he took us back to Mongena, and Kevin was waiting to take us back to Jo'Burg.
