Built for the 2010 Soccer cup, now used for soccer, rugby, concerts etc. Good seating, plenty of rest rooms, and parking available.
Soccer City as it used to be called on my first visit during the World Cup in 2010 is an absolutely phenomenal stadium.

I was able to go for a run to Loftus Versfeld and was pleasantly surprised when we were allowed to view the playing field from the inside.
The legendary home ground for Pretoria soccer teams and rugby teams

Obviously it's finest hour was in 1995 when South Africa won the Rugby World Cup there and as I sat in the stands I could see Joel Stransky's drop goal sailing over the bar in my mind's eye.
I had heard the All Black games vs South Africa called on the radio when I was younger and wanted to visit this historical place.

Great day watching the Proteas play Australia.
What a wonderful day albeit a sad one with the Proteas losing.
