For a small entrance fee, you can tour the facility, peek through the "hospital" window, watch a feeding if you time it right, and browse the informative displays.
This facility is run by a small staff supported by volunteers and worth a visit.

The Petro port provides a convenient break in your journey with exceptionally clean facilities and meal or a snack.
The wind tend to blow and we had to put jackets on, with some comfortable walking shoes we went to the look out point for some breathtaking views.

Awesome views, good hiking trail and also a wooden stairway leading down to the beach which provided amazing photos.
Beautiful area to explore about 25 kms from Summerstrand - take the coastal road.

We have many Boer war monuments in Australia of all shapes and sizes, but this particular version in St Georges park really is worth a look.
If you happen to be in St George's Park, for the cricket or just an afternoon do try and visit it - it is at the far end from the cricket ground.
