Have walked everywhere that is legal. Have been in every door that was open. Haven't eaten everywhere....not enough time. Go to the old high school...now an art place. Great things happen in Jerome. The fire station is a good place to visit for information, Made in Jerome Pottery is a must go to. So much more than souvenir shops with “made in China” junk!Written May 25, 2024This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of Tripadvisor LLC. - JENNIFER A14 contributionsJerome was suggested by 2 tour guides. Glad I took the drive in my last day in Sedona. Unique shops, art and wine. History museum in town. - Wynn RMorgan Hill, CA2,354 contributionsVery nice store, and just a couple doors from the Puscifer store. Very nice wines as well as select local merchandise. Pricey, but normal for the area.Written April 15, 2024This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of Tripadvisor LLC. Tripadvisor performs checks on reviews.
- Daran GChico, CA8 contributionsAlways explore off the beaten path. We stumbled upon this ramshackle metal and glass glass blowers shed in Jerome on a back alley and encountered Tracy Weisel - glass blower! He walked us through a glass blowing of a mug - we spent more than an hour there, and by the time he finished there were 10 people watching. We returned 2 days later to purchase the mug he blew. Five star adventure!Written November 16, 2023This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of Tripadvisor LLC. Tripadvisor performs checks on reviews.
- GregBoston, MA4 contributionsJerome really isn’t worth visiting in my opinion. There’s not much to see of interest and the old hippies who run the businesses are unpredictable. Businesses may be open or closed as we found out on a recent Sunday.Written April 16, 2023This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of Tripadvisor LLC. - Crisa MColumbus, GA18 contributionsUpstairs and down this work is well curated and beautifully crafted. Tables with inlay to tiny glass birds, leather furniture to snowy owl faces, there is a wide variety of fine crafts here. I could’ve easily spent $30k, but settled for $100. Best gallery in town!Written February 1, 2022This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of Tripadvisor LLC. Tripadvisor performs checks on reviews.
- Grumpa3 contributionsExcellent Wine Tender. Listened intently and suggested appropriate wines for our tasting. We learned of two new wines we liked.Written October 12, 2021This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of Tripadvisor LLC. Tripadvisor performs checks on reviews.
- BadgerTripperMilwaukee, WI311 contributionsThe Jerome jail is interesting in a historical sense but the "sliding" part is something you have to take as fact. There aren't photos to show the progress as it moved across the street and today it sits beside a parking lot. It is easy to see how it might have made the journey as the whole town of Jerome is mostly perched on steep hillsides way above the Verde river valley and many structures have two levels below the street because that's what's required to have an exit at ground level in the back.
Visitors can walk up to the jail and walk around three sides but cannot enter. It's a quick and easy visit as you are very likely to be parking nearby anyway.Written April 6, 2024This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of Tripadvisor LLC.
