- Gonzalo CSydney, Australia7 contributionsSun World Fansipan was... an experience. 🚠 The cable car ride was long, and the views were okay, I guess. Lots of people up top. 🚶♀️🚶♂️ The temples were pretty, but felt a bit manufactured. 🤷♀️ It was cold, so bring a jacket! 🥶 We took some photos, but honestly, it was more crowded than romantic. Worth doing once.Written January 3, 2025This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of Tripadvisor LLC. Tripadvisor performs checks on reviews.
- Barbs25Staffordshire, UK3,994 contributionsNice views over sapa town/ lake and the surrounding mountains. We came quite late in the day so just had time to reach the top and enjoy the view. Quite a big park but the highlight really is the viewpoint at the top. The rest is more filler and some quite odd bits thrown in for tourists!
Cheap entry though and worth it for the viewsWritten October 1, 2024This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of Tripadvisor LLC. Because it has an extremely prime location in the center of Sa Pa town, right opposite the Stone Church. This place is always bustling and noisy day and night.Written September 30, 2023This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of Tripadvisor LLC. - 422ianaDunedin, New Zealand3,601 contributionsDay three of our hike and really enjoying the scenery although the Dams are starting to damage the environment. No fish left in the rivers. Nice village and great to go down to the river and skim stones. Locals will follow you to where you are staying and try to sell you stuff.Written December 20, 2019This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of Tripadvisor LLC. - Global524707292413 contributionsOverall I am very satisfied with the service level and transportation provided. The limo van was clean and comfortable, and I felt safe while the vehicle was on the move. A bottle of mineral water and bread were provided to each passenger, with 2 toilet breaks during the journey.
The company also texted me the day before departure to confirm on timings and provided the van plate numbers both ways, so everything was in order.Written November 25, 2024This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of Tripadvisor LLC. Inhabited primarily by Flower Hmong people, the village hosts a market every Tuesday morning. Although the market is roughly half the size of either Bac Ha or Can Cau markets, it is very popular with tourists who visit as part of organized tour groups from Bac Ha, Lao Cai or Sapa. One of the main reasons for visiting this market is the stunning scenery of the surrounding area. The 40 minute drive from Bac Ha, up a narrow, winding country road, is simply spectacular.
Unfortunately, there are no buses or mini-buses running to Coc Ly. Transportation options are limited to participating in a group tour, hiring a car, renting a motorbike or taking a taxi from Bac Ha town.Written August 9, 2017This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of Tripadvisor LLC. - Γιωργος Π1 contributionThe experience was unique, both May Lai and Phan May (from Red Dao tribe) who were our tour guides and people from Ethos were really friendly and hospitable. We had the opportunity to stay at their houses, met their families, cooked with them, had a great herb bath after we collected herbs from the mountain and be able to meet their culture and their way of life. We tasted their cuisine and their local products as corn, rice, bamboo, green beans, buffalo, eggs etc., which they farm and they provided for us generously. May Lai and Phan May also organised a trekking both days for us which gave us the opportunity to walk through the rice fields and their mountain. I highly recommend this guided tour because of it's uniqueness and it's authenticity! Thank you for everything!Written March 23, 2025This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of Tripadvisor LLC. Tripadvisor performs checks on reviews.

- Mary B1 contributionWe booked sapa nomad for our transportation service going to Sapa then Back to Hanoi. First From Hanoi Airport we choose private car ride . The car was clean and comfortable. The driver was helpful and fun to talk with. He helped with our luggage and bring us safe in sapa. Going back to Hanoi we booked the limousine , since we have 2 big luggage and 3 hand carry , sapa nomad informed us they can only accommodate hand carry luggage so they advised us to booked 5 seats in limousine. 3 seats for us (3 person) and 2 seats for our 2 luggage. But in the end the driver put all our luggage in the trunk so eventually it fit and we didn’t use the 2 seats inside the car we booked for our luggage. (And we pay for 5 seats 😭)
If we knew we only booked for 3 seats. The ride was good and the driver drive safely. The staff in Sapanomad was very helpful in every inquiry we have . Even though sometimes I message them late. They still manage to reply . Thank you so much for bringing us safe in our destination and have an enjoyable ride. We started to love vietnam the first time we eat phô . We enjoyed our stay and probably will come back again and book sapa nomad again. Thank you to the staff miss Ha , Hung and Tracy.Written March 22, 2025This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of Tripadvisor LLC. - Izhar F1 contributionWe are 2 friends in our 70s who have been traveling in Vietnam for almost a month and in Sapa we were accompanied by the guide Thin for 4 days.
We finished 4 days of hiking and trekking in the villages and natural sites around Sapa. Thin guided us professionally, quietly and calmly and explained to us for 4 days about the surroundings.
I recommend Thin as someone who is very worth using during your stay in Sapa.
The disadvantage in Sapa and the area is very high air pollution which greatly reduces the enjoyment.Written March 25, 2025This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of Tripadvisor LLC.
