- Jane RThe Villages, FL163 contributionsI thought we would just be wandering through a garden, but the open vehicle transport up the mountain was a great ride. We saw beautiful views, and the upside down trees were amazing!Written October 8, 2022This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of Tripadvisor LLC. - Chris LNiles, MI788 contributionsThere are two parts to this glacier and we saw both. We took the 8-hour boat ride out of Juneau and it was very well done by Allen Marine Tours. A good boat tour will include slowing when near the small icebergs floating by, being close to a waterfall or two and even possible whale or mountain goat sightings. Be sure to wear layered clothing as it can be cold in the open even if it is not when you leave Juneau.Written September 16, 2022This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of Tripadvisor LLC. - Ron SFort Collins, CO147 contributionsI always visit this distillery when I am in Juneau, Alaska. Why ? Because they have the best Gin and Tonics ever ! Besides distilling their own Gin with Alaskan grown ingredients they do the same for their tonic water. The people their are awesome. I want to give a shout out to Rachel who not only is knowledgeable about their product but very helpful . I had a chance to talk to her at length and learn about not only their products but also the city of Juneau. If Gin is your thing please go. You will not be disappointed.Written September 26, 2022This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of Tripadvisor LLC. Tripadvisor performs checks on reviews.

- sharrongegHenderson, NV3,059 contributionsWhat a find! Tucked away on a side street a couple of blocks away from the tourist traffic, it is worth the effort to find this brewery. We were the only tourists there.
We tried a flight and really enjoyed them all. Our favorite——English barley wine aged in apple brandy barrels.

- Chris LNiles, MI788 contributionsWell constructed boardwalk to get you through an area with great history, a flowing creek and small waterfalls. Some may not like the "controlled" nature of the trail, but if you have small kids with you, the boardwalk and handrails allows everyone to go at his or her own speed. Do be aware there can be rock slides covering the trail, but they can be easily walked over.Written September 15, 2022This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of Tripadvisor LLC. - Susan A.Bend, OR15 contributionsWe had seen a glacier before from a large boat and thought it was nice. So we had second thoughts about going on a helicopter & climbing. Seeing how large the glacier is was spectacular! The views were amazing, I literally had to hold my jaw closed. I was scared I would fall on the ice, but the guide stayed close by me and we took our time. Luckily I was with friends and they were understanding of my balance issues & just being clumsy. I would go again and I wouldn't be afraid. Do not miss this once in a life time opportunity.Written September 19, 2022This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of Tripadvisor LLC.
