    Amazing exhibits
    This museum is a gem! It is a great place to visit and learn about the are before and after Alaska became a state. So much information, but presented in such a way that it was not overwhelming. A must visit!

    Great history behind this bronze stature
    I've probably walked past this statue several times over the many years of my visits to Junesu
    So glad I stopped and read the placards regarding this wonderful dog who was deaf and met all the ships coming into town, great history behind this dog who died in 1942.

    Good Location
    A bit of a climb to get there but the Governor’s house is worth a look at. Set amongst a number of other prime properties it has good views across the bay

    Comfortable with many wildlife sighitings
    We had a very enjoyable excursion. Spotted many whales, sea lions, eagles; with a special stop on a charming little island with light house.
