    Red dog saloon
    Fun bar to visit. Was busy. We had a pretzel and beer. Both were good. Fun atmosphere. Band playing. Fun fact, they have Wyatt Earps gun that he left long ago. Has a gift shop attached to it. Floor is covered in sawdust, it stuck all over our wet shoes.

    Alaska inside passage cruise 2023
    A small bar located at the top end of the Port shopping strip at the Cruise Terminal. About 30 people can sit at the bar with only a couple of tables with seats all inside. The bar has a small range of 4 draft beers. The staff are very friendly and polite. There are large windows looking out onto the street. The bar offers WIFI to customers, and has an ATM.

    dump the tourists and meet the locals
    If the high priced tourist attractions on the Juneau waterfront start to turn you off and you want to meet some local folks - because why else are you travelling? To hang out with other tourists? - drop into this colorful local watering hole. Get some idea of who lives here and get some advice on where to go to see what's left of the true Old West. They have a full bar and several local beers on tap, a pool table, food, and interesting conversation.
