I feel blessed to have enjoyed such delicious homemade drinks, hot sauce and food, beautiful artwork, and a jaw dropping trip to base camp on horseback complete with majestic waterfalls, sights and smells.
It should be noted that Mikey is more than just a guide, he is great person with a heart of gold, a strong adventure coach, and you can tell he genuinely loves cutting paths through the rainforest (including the o...

It was A LOT of fun! Super, super safe because you have two people belaying for you in addition to your own so if you lose your grip, don’t worry you won’t die.
Again, this thrilling and partial free-fall is very controlled by the guides as they bring you to a gentle deceleration, followed by a splash into a natural pool!

There we went snorkeling and Gabriel, our competent guide, lead us to see some beautiful corals, stingrays, colourful starfish and fish.
Doing the mangrove evening kayak tour with Gabriel was a highlight of our incredible Costa Rica trip.

... the crashing waves on the beach at the beginning of our adventure!! Beaches, pastures, forest trails and mountain climbs took us and our horses through all the retains of the area, including river crossings.
The Osa peninsula is stunning, we traversed pastureland, forest and beach even stopping to walk to a waterfall for a dip in the refreshing waters under the tumbling cascade.

Our tree climbing adventure was absolutely the highlight of our trip to Costa Rica! Dusty and Jorge provide a truly unique adventure and are fantastic tour guides for the experience!
From paragliding, kayaking at night in bioluminescent water, waterfalls, beaches, and of course climbing and sleeping in giant trees with Maccaws, Toucans, and Howler Monkeys!

In Corcovado national park Faustino (Edin;s brother) was our guide, he was very knowledgeable, we saw 5 tapir, lots of monkeys, sloths, caiman, peccary, agouti, coati, toucans and other birds and insects.
He knows the park like his own backyard, has a keen eye for spotting wildlife, and is an endless source of facts and stories to pass the occasionally long hours trekking through the jungle.

We would certainly advice him as a guide for the amazing Corcovado National Park.

We highly recommend Mauricio and Tuanis Tours CR for anyone looking for a professional, local, knowledgeable, and kind tour guide while in Costa Rica.
We were in awe of how knowledgeable Mauricio was about the wildlife we encountered in the park, and repeatedly we saw unguided visitors walk right past a hidden jungle animal that our guide had found for us.
