- Concho222Texas78 contributionsWe came here on the recommendation of our hotel in Manuel Antonio and it was one of the highlights of our trip! The road to get here is pretty rough but we had a 4X4 and had no problem. We bought tickets when we arrived. The trails are well marked. There are suspension bridges, swimming under waterfalls, hikes through the rain forest and a delicious authentic Costa Rican lunch. We spent a half day here and loved it!Written May 14, 2022This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of TripAdvisor LLC.
- Laura L5 contributionsThis was the most beautiful lush garden that I have ever seen. We thoroughly enjoyed our visit there. We took millions of pictures, most were postcard worthy. After touring the gardens, we met the owner, who was very friendly and a fellow Texan! They served fruit after the tour and it was also a treat.
I would caution people who are not physically fit that there is a lot of walking and some steep climbs. If you are up to it, it is so worth seeing! If you aren't fit, you may want to take a different tour!Written May 8, 2022This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of TripAdvisor LLC. - S1772St. Augustine, FL57 contributionsTake the fun horseback riding tour, then hike to see the beautiful waterfall, then ride the horses a short distance to the piscina, which is such a beautiful setting for swimming amongst the rocks and small falls. The people who work here are SO nice. You'll have a great time.Written November 27, 2021This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of TripAdvisor LLC.
- KCVBostonMassachusetts164 contributionsWhat a little hidden gem! We had a great time and my teenage son and husband did jump off the top of the waterfall! I saved myself for the lower platform! - linteaterGreenwood Village, CO165 contributionsWe ended up going to the waterfalls through Suntrails Montezuma zipline tour, so I didn't do the hike. I recently had ACL Surgery so it was for the best. People in our group did some of the 40ft cliff jumps, and the swim was super refreshing.Written May 9, 2022This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of TripAdvisor LLC.
- Nancy MGrimsby, Canada16 contributionsThis was an amazing experience guided by Enrique and Humberto who own the property. A challenging hike to 3 waterfalls with spectacular scenery along the way. The are very knowledgeable about Costa Rica, it’s animals, birds and vegetation. Humberto’s wife has an authentic Costa Rican lunch prepared when you return. Bring lots of water, swim suits and good walking shoes.Written March 29, 2022This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of TripAdvisor LLC.
- Happiness635941Johnson City, TN5 contributionsWe had good horses for the ride and we stopped at 2 places to eat and drink . The view was great as we looked out over the gorge. Lunch was good and the beer was cold. We did hike down to the fall and the younger one went for a swim. Enjoyable time and our guide treated us wellWritten July 3, 2019This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of TripAdvisor LLC.
- Thrillho_UK60 contributionsA nice activity if you're looking for something quite leisurely with not as many tourists as the popular hotspots. There was about 10 people there at the busiest point, and just the 2 of us when we first got down there.
It costs a few dollars entrance fee. It is then roughly a 20 minute walk down a trail with a good few stairs to the waterfall. The trail is well maintained so there is no tricky or treacherous paths. The waterfall itself is in a really secluded spot with high banks on each side so it is a very relaxing place. You can stay for as long as you want and take a dip in the water if you want. Fair warning, it's cold. It's not really big enough to 'swim' in but you can definitely get in and float around and get underwater.
The walk is very scenic and there is also wildlife to see if you're lucky. We had an agouti run across our path and saw some Capuchin's very close, a much better view than on any of the guided tours we went on. The waterfall, and the small bridges over the stream are a great spot for photos.Written March 4, 2022This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of TripAdvisor LLC. - Paige S4 contributionsLots of stone formations and little rapids and pools along this river which is just East of the town of CabuyaWritten March 15, 2022This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of TripAdvisor LLC.
- MichelleSCaliSan Francisco, CA3 contributionsAmazing tour! The guides picked us up at hotel and went to two waterfall spots. The second one was on private property and we had it all to ourselves. Paradise! Highly recommend this!Written March 31, 2022This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of TripAdvisor LLC.
- Elizabeth S3 contributionsBest hike near Jaco. The waterfall was beautiful. Hike was tricky-not for the unsure footed- but was accomplished by myself husband and two teens. Bring lots of water and get there early (8am-allows you the trial to yourself and cooler temperatures)Written April 23, 2022This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of TripAdvisor LLC.
