- Beverly B1 contributionVictor did an amazing job planning and executing a 9 day trip for 13 family members of varying ages. He provided all transportation and made resort and house arrangements, all of which worked out beautifully. His assistant Milton was also present for the week and did a great job arranging the Rio Celeste tubing expedition, which included 5 guides. We were very busy with activities, from a Sloth and Nature Reserve to Mistico Bridges, to several gorgeous waterfalls, water activities, an amazing boat trip at sunset, and more! Costa Rica is a beautiful country, and Victor (and Milton) were eager to share their enthusiasm and love of the scenic beauty, the food, the flora and fauna. Most important, Victor and Milton are warm, kind and generous individuals. They were terrific with the kids, and went out of their way to make sure everyone's needs were taken care of. - Jason HPeyton, CO3 contributionsWOW! Ronald and his wife Mergie were quite simply, amazing. No matter the request, we had an answer or tour confirmation within minutes. We used GTXpedition for airport transfers, setting up a zip line outing, setting up a catamaran tour, transportation for a very special anniversary dinner and a last-minute shopping trip. No matter the trip, the driver, usually Ronald, was courteous, prompt and knowledgeable. The catamaran tour he booked for our group of eight far exceeded our expectations. - Clyde M11 contributionsWhen traveling to Jaco we used Cuchi Transfers and we could not have been happier. The trip started off terribly with our departure being delayed and we missed our connecting flight. I feared we would arrive late and have no driver when we did arrive. I emailed the driver Luis Guillen explaining our circumstances and within minutes he responded saying “no problem.” Not only was he waiting when we finally made it to San Jose but when I asked what I owed him for rescheduling the transfer once again he said “no problem.” He offered to stop and let us get groceries and stopped again to let us photograph crocodiles at the river. When we got to the condo that night we had a bigger problem, the owner had not left a key and our information with the security guard at the entrance gate. I spoke no Spanish and the guard spoke no English. Once again Luis to the rescue, rather than dropping us off, he took another 20 minutes of his time to not only explain our circumstances, but got on his phone and called the owner and didn’t drive away until he had the entire mess straightened out and we were safely inside for the night. When I asked once again what we owed him, he said only the agreed upon price of the transfer. We used his services the entire trip and he was always available, flexible, affordable, and on time.He gave us some great tips on Do it yourself activities and saved us money by using his services rather than paying the individual “tour “ prices for my large family.
