River Tubing was just not for me. I could have done without the horseback riding. The Guide was great and over all super fun experience.

The trip was great for us, as we had a really fun group of people!

There were 32 people on the day we went, and there was no problem getting a seat in the shade(or sun) if you wanted it.The drinks started from the moment we got on the boat, and continued throughout. (not strong, but decent).

We sailed up the coast, and then anchored. People either swam, snorkeled or floated in the water. After that we had a late lunch of soft tacos, watermelon and pineapple and banana bread. We had music playing, people were dancing, just enjoying themselves. And we did return to a beautiful sunset!

I did hear that there were issues with the toilet, but I did not experience myself...

The crew was phenomenal. One of my children didn’t feel well. They got her ice and placed her behind the wheel with the captain and were amazing.
The food and drinks were great.
    Absolutely top notch.

10/10. The crew was great, the boat was clean & comfortable, the drinks were plentiful, and the food was INCREDIBLE. If I’m ever back in Tamarindo, I’ll be back.

The estuary tour was fantastic. The first animals we saw were howler monkeys hanging around in the trees. There was a good number of them including a couple of babies playing! Our guide had an eagle eye and pointed out crocodiles and lots of varieties of birds. The only thing I would change is the time of day we took the tour. We had already booked the midday one when a local pointed out that the animals are much more active in the morning before the heat sets it. Still, we saw a lot of wildlife and enjoyed the peace and calm of the estuary.

I’ve been on this type of tour before and it was similar to the others. Once we arrived at the meeting point on the beach there was several boats meeting their clients there. The boat was anchored out in the harbor so you have to take a small boat to get to the main ship. We had about 29 people on our boat which was just enough any more and it would have been crowded. The crew did a wonderful job making sure everyone was comfortable throughout the journey. We travelled for about 60 minutes before stopping to snorkel, swim, float. Th captain allowed you to jump off the roof which was fun, advice don’t wear any watch that isn’t secured as it may come off like mine did. If you are closer to Tamarindo the better as traffic leaving at night was heavy.

We did a Discover Scuba dive with Franco and had a FANTASTIC time! I can't say enough good things about him, his colleague Jose, and TamaDive in general. My friend and I have gone diving all over the world and this was one of the top experiences with a dive company that we have had. Franco is an expert in his field and explained, in detail, our gear, what to do underwater to remain safe, and made sure we felt comfortable at all times. The gear was exceptional and appeared brand new. From the moment we stepped into the van to shuttle to the beach to our actual dive, we felt completely safe and at ease..10/10 recommend to go dive with them! Thank you for a great dive, Franco!

Great food, lots of drinks, staff was amazing, saw a whale and dolphins! Good mix of all ages - we met a ton of fun people, but it didn’t feel like a cheesy booze cruise!

We had a fabulous day trip with Hugo, who is quite funny and knowledgeable about Costa Rica and its incredible flora and fauna. The ride to Palo Verde was quite interesting, a bit bumpy, but you are really getting into the heart of Costa Rica so it will be a journey- sit back and relax. It's as much about the journey as it is about the destination.

We saw crocs, lots of beautiful herons, monkeys (capuchins and howlers), bats, etc. Then we got to see a 500 year old tree, and were surprised by a nesting pair of Macaws! (Actually two pairs in two different locations). How exciting. Had a really good traditional lunch and got a short pottery making demo by Willy, a local artisan.

    Overall, well worth the money.

    Bring sunscreen and binoculars.

If you’re looking for a party boat with swimming and good food this is for you. If you want to actually snorkel then find something else. This boat goes to 1 spot only even if the waters aren’t good for snorkeling and they don’t have snorkel equipment for everyone. We had to ask for snorkel equipment because they didn’t want us to even bother. Also, they wouldn’t let me use the stand up paddle board when we still had over 2hrs left for the excursion. They do provide good drinks upon entry, music was loud and fun, and the food was great. Finding the rep in the location they said to be at was not easy and very organized. My daughter and I were a bit disappointed in this excursion for our trip but we still had fun.

Really nice afternoon trip. Pablo was our friendly and knowledgeable guide. Picked us up on time and made sure we saw all of the wildlife. Great way to spend a few hours in Playa Grande. Pura vida!

WOW! This will definitely replace your workout for the day! It was rather windy for the day which made it that much more difficult. However Joshua was fantastic! He encouraged us all the way out, guided us while snorkeling and walked us around the island. The wind picked up before heading back so Joshua put me in the double kayak with him, and together we towed my friend back to the beach. The snorkeling wasn't the best, but Joshua really made the experience worthwhile.

We met Tom on Playa Tamarindo and decided to message him. He replied quickly on Whatsapp and it was easy to arrange the kayak tour of the estuary.

We had a great time. It was a private tour with just my partner and I, each having our own kayak, which was fun. We like kayaking so if you don't wish to do physical activity, I'd suggest you choose the boat option instead.

Tom was a good tour guide, having lots of knowledge about the local trees, plants and animals. We saw lots of birds and howler monkeys. No crocodiles seen on our trip but they can be quite elusive so not unexpected. We parked our kayaks and took a walking tour of the forest, seeing bats in a hollow tree, and cool plants thay fold when you touch them! Tom is very passionate about the flora and fauna of the place so that was lovely.

Tip: make sure you bring bug spray because mosquitos are relentless in the forest!

Capitan Island is very beautiful and the diversity of sealife in the tidal pools is really incredible. Las Baulas National Park is amazing and very much something to experience. Kayaking to the island was interesting and our guide provided lots of instruction about what to do.

We had a group of 10 ages ranging from 11 to 72 out on the catamaran and it was an amazing afternoon. The crew was very friendly and enjoyable to be around. They made delicious drinks, food and took us to a beautiful beach. The water activities were excellent - on the beach we saw hundreds of crabs and turtle tracks.

For appetizers they made bruschetta and fresh fruit plate. For lunch they served rice and chicken, beans, steamed veggies, potatoes, salad and chips. Everything was great and our kids liked it too.

Bathroom on boat was clean and they had hand sanitizer available for all to use as well.
