- TFE3Doha, Qatar86 contributionsMy twin sister and I had just finished a nice week at a health resort in Costa Rica, and we’re in bad need of a manicure and pedicure.
While we were staying at a hotel in Tamarindo, the reception suggested to try out this salon, as they had a very good reputation in great need of a pedicure and manicure, we went to the salon right away, and do not regret it!
The reception and staff had a hilarious reaction to my sister and I, because we are identical twins, and it only got better as they gave us water while we waited for our appointment, filling the salon giggles and laughs.
We got to pick some very nice natural colors with some glitter, and had the most relaxing and fun time last thing with the girls who took care of us.
We would like to thank Sara, Elvira and Yerandy who gave us polished hands and feet with glowing nails with tons of good laughs!
Thanks also to Merary at the front desk for making us feel welcome!

They were both excellently trained, and the sounds of the birds and waves cannot be beat! Simply heaven. We have had couples massages before (2) in the states that were simply not very good, so we were hesitant. We basically had morning sessions everyday and the best ones where at the Tamarindo beach. Simple but yet creative exercises under the trees and next to the beach using resistance bands.

My friends and I got in touch with Kristen Atkinson, the owner, because we were interested in taking a few yoga classes in Tamarindo. Kristen went above and beyond what I expected. Not only did she offer us yoga sessions, but she also helped arrange surfing lessons (including a trip to Avellanas), a canopy tour and trip to Arenal, and a catamaran trip. Moreover, Kristen is a spirited and kind woman who quickly became a friend. Kristen's yoga is truly fantastic - it's vigorous (but not too vigorous) and inspirational. She gave us very reasonably priced private sessions on the beach, a wonderful backdrop for yoga. I took another class at the town center in Tamarindo and did not enjoy it nearly as much as Kristen's class. Kristen arranged for us to take surf lessons from her friend Abner. Abner was completely patient, helpful, and humorous. We were all surfing by day two. - Nancy BRockland, Canada1 contributionJamie is an excellent yoga instructor. I really value Jamie’s attention to detail. Jamie takes the time to adjust your alignment, which made a huge difference in my practice.
Jamie’s knowledge of anatomy and movement is remarkable yet understandable with her dance background.
I feel very grounded when I participate in Jamie’s class. She has a graceful confidence in her voice that invites and allows ease.

Often, they will say yes and still follow their script, but she did exactly that, working out so many knots! And then she went on to do any amazing full body massage!
My partner turned around at the end and stated that he had had the best massage of his life! His exact words were that she had worked out of his knots, even those in his soul.

After a relative short description of my personal needs, desires and physical boo boo’s Lauren perfectly designed a class that fit my unique needs. This wise lady dug into her deep knowledgeable bag of Asana’s, coupled with focused words, spiritual insight and healing oils, giving me a few memorable classes that have considerably helped my current practice and even more important, my physical being. Be ready, willing and open for her passionate desire to share and to heal.
