Sensoria is a truly special place, where you hike from waterfall to waterfall, hot spring to spring, encountering truly beautiful sights at every step of the way. Our guide, Joaquin, was extremely knowledgeable and kind, and I can’t recommend him enough. And the other very special part about Sensoria is the privacy — it’s a reserve so you have almost the entire place to yourself. We never shared any spring or waterfall with more than 1 other family. Soaking an meditation in the beautiful natural pools was most relaxing. - taylornik92011 contributionsThis was my favorite thing that I have done throughout my two months in Costa Rican! It is so beautiful with 4 gorgeous waterfalls. It is hidden and when we were there, we did not see anyone else! You get to see 4 waterfalls for only $12. It was definitely the best deal that we have had in Costa Rica! Great swimming and views. - SWJ_TorontoToronto, Canada196 contributionsThe waterfall is on private property so you pay 700 colones per person to enter the grounds.
The only way to see the waterfall is to get a free lunch. The price is USD43 per person! Expensive entry to a small waterfall. After paying, you get a wrist band and drive 5km up the road. There is security there so you can park with stuff in the car. Very easy walk to the stair bridge that takes you to the viewing platform. Small platform that makes it easy to access the water but takes away from the look of the waterfall. Hard to get a picture of the falls without it in it. There was a group of 5 already on the platform when we arrived so a little crowded but not bad. If you aren’t swimming, the whole thing takes 10 min.
Back to where you paid for lunch. Pretty setting but the food on the buffet isn’t great. Don’t eat the pasta - dry rubber - not sure how long it had been there. The chicken was tasty. The bar downstairs had craft beer.

- Abby M4 contributionsOffi Tours and his guides are the best experience we have had on our almost 2 month trip around Costa Rica. We have three young children (2, 4, 7) and all 3 loved this adventure! The hike was fairly easy because I wear the youngest in a carrier on my back. Our 4y was able to just about everything herself while holding a guide’s hand- including climbing ladders, hiking up a fallen tree bridge, and through a bat cave! The kids loved painting their faces with mud, learning about the insects we found (they’re always looking for bullet ants now), and swimming in the gorgeous water. You go down a mountain, then through some caves, look at monkeys in their natural habitat, jump off 10/20/30 ft rocks, swim through crevices in the wall and end up at the most beautiful waterfall you will ever see. Again, ASK FOR MICHAEL - he’s local and speaks very good English and will even teach you some Spanish along the way.

He made sure we had transfer from LIR to La Leona waterfall and in a timely manner. Our plane arrival was really late, but he still made sure our transportation was there for us. The waterfall tour was nothing short of amazing. The team was so patient and helpful and safety was priority. The fresh cantaloupe at the end was a refreshing little treat. Our driver then took us to our Airbnb in Tamarindo with a little pit stop at a local favorite for some Casado. Offi was very efficient in all ways. - Gary TAustin, TX934 contributionsWe did a 4 waterfall tour and this one was the last and nicest one. The hike in is about 10 minutes and not overly strenuous. Once you reach the falls you have to cross a 65 step suspension bridge. After you cross the bridge there is a platform where you can leave your stuff and a ladder down into the pool below the falls.
