The Orosi portion. Yeah....there was goood points and their was bad points. The stop in to see the church was gorgeous, one should see it.
HOWEVER: They drop you off six blocks from the church so that you have to walk to it. No problem there, I don't mind the walk. What I DID mind was the "forced death march". You are walking past six blocks worth of interesting little shops and stuff, and they are rushing you so that you don't get to stop in and look around. I would have liked to stop in and look around.
The lunch by the lake in Orosi: The food was "meh", the coffee was great, and the picturesque view was spectacular. Great place to take a photo as a couple. Like, seriously beautiful.
The Lankester church was interesting, although its graveyard was also interesting. I also felt rushed there.
The Lankaster plant place was pretty. My wife loved it. I didn't care about it in the slightest and was bored to death. I don't care about plants.
Overall this is a good tour, but is way too 'rushed', they don't let you stop and smell the roses or see the sights.Written December 4, 2019This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of TripAdvisor LLC. - mattbe929 contributionsHad a great time and really enjoyed our guide, Geraldo, he was very friendly and knowledgeable. The Irazu park and churches in Cartago were wonderful however the hot springs were a bit of a let down.
