    Muy Rico Experience!
    The canyon was lush and gorgeous! While I expected to rappel down the face of a rainfall, this experience was better because it included three water drops and two zipline cables in addition to canyoning. The guides were very friendly, helpful and attentive. Our guides were JC, Jose and Eric. They seemed very experienced, though they told us it was only their first or second day! 🙄 Overall, my best and favorite experience in Costa Rica! 🥰

    Super recommended!
    It was an awesome experience! We felt very safe, had a lot of fun, our guide Alex was amazing and pointed out to wildlife so we got to see sloths, monkeys and birds. Loved it!

    Great experience! Not to be missed!
    This tour was so informative and the tastings were so much fun! Our guide Rosbi was FANTASTIC!!! We bought some coffee, chocolate, and carmalized cacao beans at their store after the tour. The prices were super reasonable. We can’t wait to share everything with our family!

    Top-notch Service
    From start to finish, the Balsa River Rafting team provided top-notch service. The booking process was easy, the guides were friendly, and they even offered delicious refreshments after the trip. I couldn't have asked for a better adventure.

    Great mix of adventures
    This was an amazing trip. We enjoyed the rappelling and horse back riding. The duration was short enough where we could enjoy the rest of our day too.

    Amazing and Educational !!
    This tour exceeded my expectations. From the moment we stepped foot on the property, we were greeted with the smiling faces of the nicest people you could ever meet. Warning, come with an empty stomach because you will be fed with some of the best fruit and chocolate on earth. Mauricio was the best tour guide ever as he enthusiastically educated us on all the plants and fruit trees on the property, including a special treat of a sloth at the end of the tour. It was so much more that what I expected and I guarantee you will not be disappointed.

    Excellent and Educational
    In August, we experienced this coffee and chocolate tour and had a wonderful time. Our guide was friendly and knowledgeable. She explained details on making coffee and chocolate. Tastings and making own chocolate was a lot of fun. Highly recommend this tour.

    Amazing food and experience!
    Melania and Warner (Tala) were great hosts. Warner look us around the farm, we made sugar cane juice and fed the goats while looking at all their produce. Melania showed us how to make ceviche, empanadas and patacones. They were fun to chat with and get to know. The food was delicious! Our family had a great time and we would highly recommend this experience!

    Don’t miss this!
    This tour was so informative! Our guide, Rosbi, walked us through their coffee and cacao fields. Along the way, there were plenty of tasty samples! Wevcame away with a greater knowledge and appreciation of how chocolate and coffee is made. The quality of their products are amazing. A must tour if you’re in La Fortuna, Costa Rica!

    Chocolate lover
    This was a really fun tour! I learned a lot and had a great time! Caesar was fantastic, he really knows his stuff and he has a great sense of humour!! The tour is interactive which makes it really fun, I laughed harder than I have in a while because he somehow managed to get my husband up and dancing while making chocolate. We had a great time AND the chocolate is delicious! Highly recommend.

    This was our favorite activity from our trip in Costa Rica!
    This was such an amazing experience. There were a lot of parts that scared us but the guides were excellent in helping us through them. This was the most terrifying thing my group did, but we all agreed this was our favorite activity from our trip in Costa Rica!

    Memorable and delicious
    This was a fantastic experience! The food was the best we’d had in CR by a lot and the experience with Lena and Fran was unforgettable. My best friend and my boyfriend came with me and both guides were helpful, friendly, and shared with us Costa Rican culture. I would highly recommend inviting them to eat dinner with you! “¿Quieren comer con nosotros?” When I asked this, 1. They looked so happy, like it wasn’t the norm. 2. We got to know them much better from a setting at the table relaxed rather than cooking.

    Authentic Costa Rican Experience
    We did the salsa dancing and cooking class hoping to soak up a bit of Costa Rican culture. Our instructor for the night was Katherine. She was amazing and so patient with our lack of salsa dancing. I didn’t think I would get it, but her patience paid off and by the end of the night I was salsa dancing. Good food, drinks and dancing… what could be better?? Highly recommend this experience, ask for Katherine and bring your dancing shoes. Pura Vida
