If you are looking for nice place to take a picture Landmark of Shanghai, this is a place.

Easy to reach from subway station of East Nanjing.

Mood and Tone of visit in daytime and night time is much different. Night Time, in my sense, is preferred.

You may feel familiar with this place from a few Chinese movies for sure.

Trust me.....go there and take a bunch of pic in the night!!!!!'

Amazing experience at Suits by Susan - they made me a custom suit within 24-hours and gave me a really great price. Warm and friendly team - plus plenty of great professional styles. I came for business looking for a new suit and this place did not disappoint! I will be back on my next trip to Shanghai!

Worth visiting, if you like Chinese gardens. It was very crowded, so not possible to relax. Reserve at least one hour to cover the whole area.

This is the first visit since 2003. So much difference. Before, they are like many old town in China, very commercial and shops sell same stuff which were boring.
Now, it's clean, many varieties. Not only traditional thing but modern stuff that can blend into the environment. Most important is coffee shop!
    Can easily spend 2-3hours there.

Long pedestrian street full of shops and even more people. Here you can find stores like H&M and many other western brands. You can also find domestic shops, selling just about anything. Great street to people watch. Beware of the people asking you to buy watches and bags as these are very cheap imitations

    Free entry but crowded.

Great place to study the history of Shanghai and China through a lot of artifacts.

Many exhibitions that worth many hours if you love the history.

Tianzifang is one of the popular tourist destinations in Shanghai for shopping and experiencing local culture and lifestyle. It is located in the old French concession area. The area has mainly retained the "authentic and original" feeling because it has not been reconstructed or rebuilt. Instead visitors will get to see buildings, shophouses, alleys and streets of the old French concession area with Chinese "culture".

It has now become famous as a "rabbit warren" of arts and crafts shops, with restaurants, bars, cafes, souvenir and boutique shops etc. It has become touristy but still a good place to have a feel of the local touch.

I enjoy walking around in the small lanes around the old ancient buildings with beautiful decorations as it is quite difficult to find them these days due to the city redevelopment!

I saw a lot of old buildings and stores, many of them with unique decorative styles, and strolled along this old street full of stories and moods. I took a lot of photos here and love the sights!

Old town Shanghai, reconstructed but nevertheless fun to visit. Plenty of shopping and eating. This place draws a crowd even in the winter. A must see and do for the first time visitor.

Very interesting exhibition, nice owner and fun souvenir shop. Although not that big, it's still definitely worth a visit.

We visited here in August 2019 on a tour. Although we were only here for a couple of hours, it was no where near enough time to get through all the shops and food stalls and sights. August is a very busy time and there were many many people everywhere. The architecture was wonderful, and so much to see. Definitely worth the visit. Leave yourself enough time.

AP Plaza is a cool place to find fake bags, electronics and watches. The tailors here are actually excellent and some of the tailor made suits and shirts are premium quality and cheap.

This temple complex is noted for its jade Buddha statues imported from Myanmar. We were only expecting a couple of statues but this complex had a dozen different status including three reclined Buddhas and the Jade Buddha, which you were not allowed to photograph. The grounds are well maintained.

The Huangpu river cruise was an experience, some parts reminded me of London and Liverpool, others of New York. It was raining the day we went, but started to clear a little towards the end of the cruise. Well worth hanging around an hour or so for the lights to come on along the river, very pretty. It was the annual holidays and lots of people were about, but we felt very safe.

As one of Shanghai Tourist attractions, this is a-must visit.

It costs 50 yuan person. Q line for payment by Alipay and Wechat Pay is different.

Temple is historic place surrounding with high-rised buildings.

There are a lot of local and foreigner tourists at this place.

As one of landmarks in Shanghai, you should visit this place anyway.

Location is heart of downtown as easy to reach by subway Jing An station.

    Recommended.
