Plenty of food here. And, lots of boutiques, to my surprise, especially clothing for men! Line 11 to North Jiading metro station and we took Bus 13 and get off at Cheng Zhong Lu Zhang Ma Lu (Cheng Zhong Road & Zhang Ma Road). Walk along Cheng Zhong road, along the river and you will reach the old town. - Chris PShanghai, China4,924 contributionsI stumbled on Anting German Town or Anting New Town as it is known. It’s weird walking along and suddenly seeing German styled buildings - the place was designed by Albert Speers son!
It’s interesting walking around, but there is not much else happening, besides a few photo opportunities. It’s also far away, but if you are their, the Auto Museum is very worthwhile visiting.
