    Beautiful trip with perfect preparation
    Beautiful trip with perfect preparation. We were picked up at the airport by a private driver. He took us to our guide Chloe, who showed us the main sights. Chloe is very knowledgeable about the history of the sights and the interpretation was very informative. The overall arrangement was great, we were given detailed instructions on how to arrange our visas directly at the airport and so nothing prevented our journey. Thank you for a wonderful trip that took me through the main sights of Sanghai ♥️

    Day trip to Suzhou
    It was a wonderful day trip to beautiful Suzhou where the city was amazingly spectacular, especially the canals at 平江路 & 山塘街, do make sure you visit these places.

    On top of that, we had an incredible guide, Annie, who is very proactive, spontaneous & entertaining throughout our trip. You can trust her to find good angles to get your pictures and she'll snap beautiful shots for you that will make it a lasting memory in your album. She is also ensures our safety and ensure that whatever we want is squeezed into the itinerary!!

    Have a everlasting memory in Suzhou and give it an exceptional touch if you book it along with tour guide Annie! :-)

    Wonderful tour of two water towns with delicious local tastes and visual treats!
    We had such a fantastic day with Jerry in the two water towns! The views were absolutely amazing - as was the boat ride in both locations - one by day under the beautiful willow trees and the other by night with views of the lit water and red lanterns - what an experience!

    Jerry took us to all the best spots, including a wonderful local restaurant for lunch and a great lit waterside restaurant at night. We sampled local culinary treats along the way - also some rice wine (very strong! Haha) - and of course shopping! Jerry even carried my shopping bags so I could be free to go in and out of the shops. He was so knowledgeable about the area and the history - wonderful guide!

    When we first booked the trip we were worried it was going to be too long of a day, but it wasn’t - it was absolutely perfect! Jerry also let us go at our own pace, which was great!

    Thank you Jerry and thank you Amazing City Tours for making our day trip out of Shanghai the BEST!!!

    Suzhou and TongLi visit
    Tongli was beautiful and authentic. The lunch in Suzhou was delicious and the humble administrators garden was breathtaking! I very much enjoyed my guide Daisy who was very generous with her time and advice! We fit in some shopping on the side as well!!

    Traditional Shanghai
    The tour was well worth it. Tom made it so easy, we just needed to turn up. The Water Town looked very pretty, we took many beautiful photos there. The architecture and street stalls were very interesting too. Tom was very knowledgeable and was giving us a lot of background information of the Water Town which made our visit much more enjoyable. Our car ride was super comfortable too. Definitely recommend.

    Great time
    Had a great time. The Zhujiajiao water town was very interesting and had a lot of nice shops. The show was very good with a mixture of acrobatics, magic and a little comedy. Highly recommend this tour.

    Excellent Tour Guide
    I thoroughly enjoyed my time in Shanghai. Lisa was a brilliant tour guide and took me all around the city. She was very friendly, very helpful and very knowledgeable. I am a wheelchair user and Lisa made sure that everything was accessible for me. The Bund, the Old Town and People's Park were my favourite. Highly recommend this tour and would love to return to the city some day.

    Charming and Caring
    This tour appeared to go badly when I got myself muddled and booked it for the following day - when I would have left China! - instead of trying to be joined into an activity on the day of booking. The woman to whom I spoke on the phone - Alana? - could not have been more patient with my stupidity and magically summoned up a guide and driver to collect me within about 30 minutes of my very garbled and frantic phone call. Snow, my guide, was charming company, well-informed about matters relevant to what we were seeing but with excellent English, so able to speak with me about other interesting features of everyday life in China, our smiling driver conveyed that my safety was in good hands and - along with the beautiful traditional garden in Zhujiajiao - the other highlight was the very friendly manageress of the farm we visited, who generously let me eat so many of her loquats! With Alana too, I thank you for leaving me with such good memories: what we saw was interesting, but what was really memorable and engaging was speaking with Alana and meeting and spending time with the three of you. Along with other experiences of lovely Chinese people, your kindness and friendliness will be what I will remember. I warmly recommend this company and this tour.

    Superb Shanghai and Water Village!
    We had a wonderful tour of Zhujiajiao Water Village and Shanghai. We were a group of 6 staying pre-cruise at the Marriott City Centre. Mary was our guide and was extremely sweet and pleasant. She was very knowledgeable and provided us with lots of useful information.

    We first visited the water village. It was about an hour outside of town but the ride was most comfortable and Mary was very entertaining along the way. We had a comfortable van and so traveling was quite pleasant. It was a gorgeous sunny day and we strolled along the canal. It was fun to see all the stands with food and trinkets. The area is so clean and colorful! We also visited a beautiful home with a gorgeous garden where we took lots of pictures. After that we took a boat ride on the canal which was so enjoyable.

    After the water town we went back to Shanghai. We went first to the French Concession area where we had a delicious lunch of dumplings and fried rice and vegetables. Mary ordered for us and everything was wonderful. Then we went to Old Shanghai which was fascinating with beautiful old buildings. We are so amazed at the beautiful architecture of China. From there we went to the Bund which was a great contrast to Old Shanghai. We saw and did so much in one day.

    This was a wonderful tour. We all had an outstanding time. We were even sent very thoughtful thank you gifts the next day. This is a top notch company and I highly recommend Mikki Tours if you are visiting Shanghai.

    Ancient Water Town during national holiday week
    During National holiday week in October can be very crowded. We book this private tour with the hope our guide would navigate the crowds. It was excellent. We missed all the crowds by arriving early and were able to tour the ancient town in relaxed atmosphere. As the crowds started to build we left the ancient town to a local farm and were able to pick Oranges and Dragon Fruit. The farm was 15min away from the ancient town. After the farm we headed back to the Ancient town and had lunch. This time we went to a less crowded part of the ancient town and walked some of the less traveled alley ways.

    National holiday week in October can be crowded, but with our private tour guide it was a success in avoiding what could be a very busy time. To make this happen our guide contacted us to start at 7:00am instead of the normal 9:00. Arriving early we did not miss anything. And coming back for lunch made us appreciate how nice it was and gave a second chance to look around.

    Fengjing and Xitang with Penny
    This was out last tour during our three days in Shanghai and the best day. Penny was our guide, she told us of the water towns prior to arrival and what was the difference between the two. Fengjing was as expected, not crowded, maybe cause this was a Monday. Great for taking photos, we even visited the Wedding Museum. Xitang was where we stop for dinner and the lights, yes it was more commercial, but the lights are beautiful and walking along the paths and bridges are pleasant and something to see. Penny was personable and we chatted along the way, answered our questions gave us plenty of time to take photos and shop. Penny even help negotiate better prices for us when we shopped. She brought out the adventure in us and tried foods that we had not had before. Penny even step out of her way and reconfirmed our driver to the airport the next day. She is a "GEM". You will not be disappointed in this tour. I only wish we had know of Penny and Shanghai Melody tours, we would had booked our walking tour with Penny such as to French Concession and Tianzifang..
