- Nick YHong Kong, China135 contributionsDuring the May, it’s rainy, sunny and a bit humid at Shanghai, was there visited the Fair of China Beauty. Very interesting fair centre as it’s really huge. Thousands of exhibitors and you really can’t visit all the halls, it’s impossible. Too big.
Also the problem of transportation is headache, I remember that one of the day need to walk 20minutes away from the exhibition centre, there is no chance at all to grab a cab or call for a cab.
I was at one of the park 20minutes away of the fair and waiting for a cab. It was around 5:30pm, the Mosquitos came out like crazy party. Luckily I have the Be3 Mosquito Spray that helped a lot, one Spray all around the body, thanks to the BOV system that the bottle can spray 360degrees. Zero mosquito bites at the time, while seeing others scratching....Written June 4, 2019This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of Tripadvisor LLC. Computerized book ordering is in Chinese, but the online search has English and there are English speaking interns at the reception. It's possible to wander in some areas without being a member, but most require swiping your card. Registering is fairly easy, interns can help; this will require your passport once. There are places to use your laptop, a foreign books section and a fair selection of English-language materials by request in the reading room. Membership in the Shanghai Library also gives access to Zi-Ka-Wei antique book vault.Written November 9, 2011This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of Tripadvisor LLC. - That Dubai BloggerDubai, United Arab Emirates221 contributionsThe place is huge and can accommodate a number of people and the scenery is so beautiful. Attended a travel fair there and I really enjoyed how it looked and how easy it was going with public transportation, like 5 minutes walk from the MTR. - World_o_choiceSingapore, Singapore402 contributionsIFC is located on the ring walkway at Pearl's tower. There are 6 floors of shopping altogether. There are restaurants on the top 2 floors of the mall. The mall is filled with International brands. High end shopping mall.Written June 5, 2016This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of Tripadvisor LLC. Tripadvisor performs checks on reviews.
- Jette S11 contributionsThe library was very big and spacious. It has lots of table (with lamps) and chairs that can accommodate most of the visitors. I have not tried their wifi connection since I have my own data connection which was already good enough. The library was very clean that you could even sit on the floor. There were also lots of electrical sockets that were scattered all over the place. Most of the library goers are quiet and considerate.Written January 1, 2020This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of Tripadvisor LLC. - J H1 contributionIt took me almost 3 hours to get out of this airport.
1. There is no clear sign at finger print collecting area that foreigners only need to do it once in their previous trip to Shanghai. The result is we who have already done the collecting have to walk for an extra long distance just to find out we do not need to do it.
2. The custom counters for foreigners are really slow. The line in front of counters for Chinese citizens are four or even five times longer than ours, but they just disappeared in one blink. In the end, the airport had to let us use the Chinese citizen’s counters.
3. There are actually two “green” exits, but there is no clear arrow sign on the ground or whatsoever. People had to wait in a super long queue, waiting to have their luggage scanned. After almost half an hour, when we almost reached the exit, we realised we can actually go through the other door with almost no queue there.
And yes a couple of shameful queue jumping during this time too.Written December 25, 2019This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of Tripadvisor LLC. Tripadvisor performs checks on reviews.
