What travelers are saying
- ebkaderDubai, United Arab Emirates142 contributionsWent to watch the Rolex Shanghai Masters
The various descriptions are needlessly complex. Getting there is remarkable easy:
1. Take the metro to the end of line 5 to Xinzhuang station. 4RMB singel journey
2. Take the south exit and walk across the overpass tunnel to the exit.
3. down the stairs/escalator to the left is a marked bus stop with buses departing every few minutes from mid to late morning. 2RMB single journey; takes about 45mins
The stadium is clean and modern with great views from all seats. Best advice: Get seats in the VIP boxes, they're well worth it as you are pretty much courtside!!
Tips: food on offer is poor and overpriced, but that is standard for all venues like this.
Getting back:
1. If you depart before 10pm, you can take the same bus back to Xinzhuang metro station for 2RMB.
2. If you leave after 10pm, you will get another bus back to Caoxi transport hub for 10RMB. This is close to the Shanghai Indoor Stadium Metro station.
Other transport option: taxi for about 100-150 RMB each way.Written October 27, 2019This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of Tripadvisor LLC. They had a play area with slide, and lots of games for kids. Totally awesome and a great menu too.Written September 15, 2019This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of Tripadvisor LLC. Tripadvisor performs checks on reviews.
- Sock San T8 contributionsThere are many activities in the amusement part. Great for my group which comprises elderly, teens an children. They have craft and acrobat act . We spent almost 5 hours in itWritten December 11, 2018This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of Tripadvisor LLC. Tripadvisor performs checks on reviews.
- ClaireZeCatChatham, NJ6 contributionsThe children had a birthday party here. It is very famous around the people living here, and it is very fun. There is a separate children section, with a small slide into a foam pit. In the adult section, there is a trampoline basketball court, and a lot of trampolines. I supervised the kids as they played trampoline tag, laughing and having fun. There was also a small zip-line over another foam pit, so if you fell midway, you would be safe. I was instructed to man (or would it be woman?) the zip-line. All in all, it was great fun for both the kids and adults.Written May 8, 2018This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of Tripadvisor LLC. - Nelson CSalvador, BA1,435 contributionsShanghai master 1000 tennis is a must if you want to learn how well tennis ranking players are appreciated. People from all over Asia came to cheer for Djokovic. Lots for Wawrinka e some for Murray who ended up winning the championship. We had a blast. The food court is large and offers a lot: we had the best duck of the four we tasted. Service is great even without English: they know how to take advantage of google translate. Pretty soon you no longer need to learn a language to communicate!Written November 5, 2016This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of Tripadvisor LLC. - Alex-The-ProShanghai, China16 contributionsThe trampolines are nice and fun, and there are obstacle courses in which you can have fun and enjoy yourself, but the people aren't very keen on regulating the rules and it may be a bit out of order at time.Written October 2, 2018This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of Tripadvisor LLC. - Rick OMelbourne, Australia69 contributionsEasy to access use subway light purple line 10 (taxis are cheap too) stadium itself is old school, rusty light towers and modified shortened ends to match afl ground size. Plenty of toilets, not enough food and drink vendors and wear hat and sunscreen fir most exposed to weather. Was able to watch training day before and get autographs and talk to players. Will be back next year, next time saints will b better prepared fir the weather food and cultureWritten June 8, 2019This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of Tripadvisor LLC. - Djewan R27 contributionsWe were really in a mood to go for karting. Fortunately, we found Disc Kart on Tripadvisor. The nearest metrostation is Daduhe Road, so you need to walk or take a bike to this place from the metrostation which is approx. 15 minutes.
Once we arrived we bought our ticket which was 120 RMB, there was no customer service. You need to go downstairs, grab an helmet and just wait when the new session will start. They will not give any instructions at all. The session takes about 8 minutes but feel much longer, it was a nice experience even though there were a lot of turns so max gass is only possible at one point.Written October 1, 2018This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of Tripadvisor LLC. I went to 'Shanghai Swimming Center' (上海游泳馆) which the subway station is named after.
It was good, meaning.. I went from 4pm to 5.30pm and there were roughly 10 people per lane (50m pool). But if you're from New Zealand or Australia you'll have no trouble passing a passing swimmer. 80% of whom were attempting breaststroke. Fortunately for me I only got kicked in the face once.
The cost is ¥40.00 for 90 minutes. Which includes a free cultural experience in the changing room.
I enjoyed a good swim, I hope you will too.Written July 19, 2016This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of Tripadvisor LLC. When you get out if the station, walk left and you are in the park already. Park is huge and crowded during weekends. Lu Xun’s cemetery is in the park, at a serene corner. Lu Xun Memorial Hall or Museum is REALLY GOOD. There’s English description and explanation alongside Chinese, all the way. There is also a Plum Garden as well in the park. Totally enjoyed the whole park!Written March 1, 2021This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of Tripadvisor LLC. Tripadvisor performs checks on reviews.
