    Loved the tea ceremony at the temple
    Lynn, the tour guide, was amazing! Felt like a relaxing morning walking around and talking to a friend. The insect market was very interesting, but the highlight for me was Confucius Temple and the Tea ceremony - it’s a must try while in Shanghai.
    Definitely recommend the tour!

    Great way to get an intro to Shanghai and try some delicious food and drink!
    Cara our tour guide was so fun and informative. She had a terrific sense of humor and her English was amazing. We tried some delicious food and learned a lot about the culture of Shanghai. We were definitely full and happy at the end of the tour!

    Best food tour
    Sunny was a great guide, food was awesome and river cruise at the end of evening was the perfect ending. The city in lights is too beautiful to be able to describe.

    Awesome Food & Cultural Tour
    I had a fantastic time on this tour. Alana was fantastic, and there was so, so much great food. Definitely a highlight of my trip. I only wish I'd had room to eat more.
    Alana was great guiding me through using the Shanghai metro for the first time, taught me a lot about Chinese history and culture, showed me some really amazing sites in Qibao, and knew exactly where to go for the best food I've had in months. I'm recommending her tour to all my friends who visit Shanghai.
    I also cannot stress just how many good options there are. Without Alana, it would have been overwhelming, and a lot harder to navigate.

    A privilege and eyeopening experience
    What a fantastic way to spend 3 hours! I've been living in Shanghai for over 10 years and I must say this tour opened my eyes to such much that I have been missing out on: the history, the preparations, the flavors, the characters, and the all the hidden gems that were unknown to me. The sad part is I'm about to return to the US and wished I spent more time at the restaurants and businesses UnTour took me to. I can confidently say I won't be getting anything like that outside of Shanghai. And even for the people in Shanghai, I'm afraid some of these places will disappear with time as the older generation retires. This is why I feel like it was such a treat and privilege to have been able to experience it and learn from the incredible team at UnTour. Money well spent and looking forward to another tour with UnTour before I leave town forever. Thank you!!!

    Great food with a knowledgeable guide
    What a great evening we had with our tour guide Juanjuan (Libby). An amazing array of food from timeless treats to Michelin recommended noodles. Libby was highly knowledgeable, loves good food and obviously enjoys showing the world her favorite spots for good eats. We highly recommend and encourage you to go at the beginning of your trip as there may be places you want to return before you leave Beijing.

    Fantastic!
    What an amazing tour! Christina, our guide, was friendly and knowledgable. A real foodie, she guided us round some excellent food places. We had scallion pancakes, dumplings, noodles and more. Brilliant!

    Highly recommend this tour
    I thoroughly enjoyed this awesome tour not just for the scrumptious Chinese delicacies we got to sample, but also for the cultural information shared by our personable tour guides, Patrick and Xiaoyan. After the tour, they also sent us a list of the shops we visited and the food the tried so we can go back on our own if we particularly liked something.

    Highly recommended if you like it hot
    A fantastic tour of Shanghai’s food scene with a wonderful guide. While getting to try some amazing food I loved but would never try on my own (I won’t ruin the surprise), I really enjoyed the company and conversation. Libby knows so much about Shanghai’s food scene and her warmth and passion shines through. Highly recommended!
