- Christos AAthens, Greece46 contributionsYou go here for the view. We had a great experience here for the views. The drinks / food were no bad so na so. - Loke LSingapore, Singapore12 contributionsThe minimum charge of 300 CNY per pax is kind of expected for a supposedly high class place like this. The jazz band is made up of seniors but they are soulful and dynamic. The singer is a let down. Our champagne glass is made of acrylic and I think you’d agree with me this is not quite acceptable. These two points brought down the review of an otherwise wonderful experience.Written May 31, 2024This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of Tripadvisor LLC. - Connor P1 contributionReally cool restaurant and great value for money. The service was amazing too. We got the set lunch menu which included a meal, side and a drink for around 10 US dollars. We also asked about another menu item although we decided against it, but they brought us it to try for free anyway. Couldn’t have asked for a better experience. Frank served us and he was excellent!Written March 25, 2024This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of Tripadvisor LLC. Tripadvisor performs checks on reviews.
- Martin ASuzhou, China3,214 contributionsLaowaijie is a pedestrian street lying across the border of Minhang District and Changning District with the feature dedicated to catering for food hunters and drinkers. Foreigner Street is located in a nice area of Shanghai. It's clean and well situated near Longxi Metro Station.
Foods served at dozens of restaurants parading along Laowaijie range from international cuisines like Italian, Mexican, German, and American to local specialties like Shanghainese, Cantonese, and Sichuanese.
In addition to the various food options that bring in a food carnival to gourmets, a couple of dozen bars have brought a wide range of drinks to this fascinating alley.
Good place to find many pubs and western food. Great bars and food with plenty of choice. Easy to reach, nearby Hongqiao airport , with great old colonial building converted into restaurants and pubs. It is very popular with locals and expats. Especially great for Friday night and weekends. It has six Chinese restaurants and 24 foreign restaurants and bars.Written October 11, 2024This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of Tripadvisor LLC. Many foreigner are joining the place the cool thing is that around 11pm they close the door and become a proper club with djs and lights ! - Chris PShanghai, China6,026 contributionsWent to “Homeslicepizza” in the Found Complex. Some of the best a pizza I have had in Shanghai and they make a 20 inch one - they are HUGE! You can also buy by the slice. Amazing place - try it out - service was goodWritten October 30, 2020This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of Tripadvisor LLC. - jeffreyt2000San Francisco Bay Area25 contributionsThe Patio Lounge is in the atrium area on the 56th floor of the Grand Hyatt - sitting there you can look up the 33 floors of the atrium.
Note - some of the other reviews here are for different restaurants/bars in the hotel. There is no view of the Bund from the Patio.
There serve an afternoon tea as well as wine and spirits. They also have a jazz trio play on the weekends, which creates a nice environment in which to relax, have a drink, or a snack.
The food is basically snacks and small dishes. The service is good, though when busy they can be a little slow.Written April 21, 2017This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of Tripadvisor LLC. Small bar inside with good atmosphere, balcony outside, with a pool(?) and Pool table upstairs.
Well worth a visit, which will lead to it becoming a regular stopping point!Written September 1, 2018This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of Tripadvisor LLC. - ChiGuy19Chicago, IL58 contributionsWe went on a Monday evening and eventually found the bar as it is connected with a restaurant on the 6th floor. There was one other couple in the bar but plenty of other folks in the restaurant. We missed the roulette wheel that other reviews have mentioned but loved the view from the 6th floor of the Bend. The drinks were about what one would pay for nice cocktails in the United States in a major city. The staff was nice and attentive. I would recommend this place if you are looking for a low key enjoyable spot for a nightcap.Written November 22, 2016This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of Tripadvisor LLC. - Deanosaur89Edmonton, Canada9,226 contributionsI did not expect to find something like this while in China. Good music and good drinks with well maintained rollerskates.
This place is on the smaller side for roller skating but is contagiously fun! 158 RMB gets you a drink, snack and rollerskate rental OR two drinks and a rollerskate rental. The drinks are pretty good and the food looked good as well but I would say the reason to go here is to rollerskate, dance and have a good time. They have protective pads if you are a new roller skater which include helmets, wrist guards, knee pads, elbow pads and turtle pads for your knees or butt! They also have lockers to rent for 10 RMB which fit all the bags, shoes and jackets for four people. We spent about 2 hours here and probably would have stayed longer had they not closed! The area Riink is very cool with many good restaurants and bars nearby.
Closest metro is Changpin Road Station and it comes up as Riink in Didi.Written April 2, 2021This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of Tripadvisor LLC. They sometimes have live music but not the night I was there. Food is simple pub food but the burger was one of the best Ive had in China.Written May 7, 2021This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of Tripadvisor LLC.
