- Go3140431 contributionThe Sunny Lady captain and crew were awesome. We could not of asked for a friendlier crew and they were very knowledgeable and appeared to enjoy their jobs. We got to see lots of dolphins. The parrot was a great bonus and was a hit with everyone on board. - Cindy E1 contributionCaptain Jason was great. We took my son, son in law and 2 of my grandsons. We all had a great time. We saw dolphins. Several times during the fishing trip and my grandsons aged 7 and 12 years old caught fish and had a blast. Captain Jason was very patient with them and helped them land some 7-8 pound fish. - Amanda MullBettendorf, IA7 contributionsThis was an AMAZING EXPERIENCE!! Captain Steve was so kind and patient. We had a storm that day and Captain Steve was able to navigate around it for us. Skylar was so sweet and bubbly! She was always encouraging and fun!! We had ages 11, 14 and 19. They had a blast playing on the jet ski and tubing. We also got to see dolphins!! - JasonG4 contributionsWe chartered an all-day private sail for our group of four as part of our ten day vacation to the Alabama coast. Captain Randy took the time to plan the sail to accommodate the type of experience we wanted to have, as well as being flexible with scheduling in order to work around changing weather forecasts. We had a very relaxing and enjoyable day out on the water as we got to sail amongst the dolphins and other marine life, learn a bit about sailing, and catch a beautiful sunset as we returned to the marina. This was definitely the high point of a vacation that was full of activities, was well worth the cost, and we would (and will) recommend SailOB and Capt. - Christy S1 contributionAMAZING!!!!!!! One of the best experiences ever. The dolphins were active and swimming near the boat. Then Captain Matt said, “let’s see if they want to play”. The dolphins were then swimming and jumping in the wake from boat!!!! We came last year, and had a great trip. Don’t know how we could top this trip. - Jennifer S1 contributionWe booked the three-hour charter fishing trip with Captain Don. Captain Don was very friendly, personable and professional. The vessel was extremely clean and seemed to be well maintained. We took our three grandsons who were excited to go fishing. Captain Don provided instruction and guidance during the trip. At one point, Captain Don was multitasking effortlessly as three little boys all caught fish at the same time! The current was not moving so fishing was a bit slow but Captain Don made sure we enjoyed the trip. Unfortunately, we had to cut the trip short due to a boy overheating. All in all we had a great time. I would definitely book with Gulf Island again! - Lisa C1 contributionWas visiting Perdido Key with my husband and two young girls. We needed a break from the beach but still wanted to enjoy being outside. So we decided to give the dolphin cruise a try. We had a blast! We saw lots of dolphins, beautiful scenery and enjoyed a great boat ride. Since the cruise is on a catermaran we were outside the whole time, the boat has seating along the edges providing great views of the water the entire trip, and is small enough that you aren’t packed in with 100 other people. My girls had no issues with being able to see the marine life.
