This museum is so full of rich history! The people here did a great job pulling their own resources to create such a fun and enriching place. Thank you for your service and for coming together to make such a cool place!

We really enjoyed our visit to this garden. The building you enter to pay for tickets and the gift shop is beautiful. Loved the layout. Lots of places to sit in the shade, with interesting seating. Lots of fun little places for children to explore and hide in. Bird houses, bird cages, and a grandfather's clock! I was impressed that there wasn't just one children's area, but things to do throughout the park. I was very touched by the Garden of Hope. The park is big enough to find your own space, yet small enough that getting back to the entrance isn't overwhelming if you need to get back. There was an accessible swing available. Overall I feel they tried to create something that appeals to everyone. A definite must see if you can.

This was my second time to visit the park. The first two was in November and it was to cold to look around. This time was much better. It was lovely. The trees were blooming and it was fun. There were kids playing and even a couple making prom pictures.

Brenda and Debbie were a ton of help getting us information about Huntsville. We were thrilled with the service and the kindness they both showed us. They also encouraged us to do the Lucky Duck Scavenger Hunt. I wasn't so sure about it, but it ended up being a lot of fun and made it so were explored a lot of the area in a way that I wouldn't have done on my own.

If you are looking for information about Huntsville and looking for things to do, be sure to talk to Brenda or Debbie.

Went hiking here a few days ago with my 7 and 10 year old. Admission is $5 for over 12 years old, and $2 for under 12. We hiked the Northern Loop Trail (1.9 miles), and the Southern Loop Trail (3.4 miles). Both trails were easy and relatively flat. There's a playground, and you can get a map at the office. The rest room by the office was clean enough. You can exit the park, and come back in the same day as long as you keep your receipt. There were more challenging trails, but I didn't want to overwhelm the kids. The trails we hiked were marked well, so it was easy to stay on the right path. Would love to visit again when in the Huntsville area.

Beautiful homes and amazing examples to study for the student of architecture! Sunday drive did not disappoint. The history of Huntsville and its current forward thinking technology make it an amazing place to visit!

I went here with my 7 and 10 year old. Admission is free, and parking was plenty (went on a Monday morning though). We hiked around the lake (about 1.5 miles). The trail loops around the lake. Easy trail. The scenery was beautiful. We went at the end of September, and the leaves were just beginning to change color. Would be even more beautiful at the end of October. Kids had fun throwing rocks in the lake. There were many gardens along the path of the trail. Most were not in bloom as it was the fall season. Would be really pretty in late spring. There's a covered bridge, a chapel, an outdoor class room. There were benches along the path of the trail. Would visit again when in the area.

My husband and I came here December 10th and had a awesome time. This was by far the best attraction we saw while visiting Huntsville. I loved the history and the docents where amazing. We walked around with one of the docents, I believe his name is Paul, and he really made our visit special. We also walked around with Nancy who explained a lot of information in detail. I highly recommend coming here.

What a great idea! A school provides plenty of space and parking, and both are needed for this brewery. We had a great time. Self seating, a nice menu, and plenty to drink. Would absolutely recommend this place. Hurry over!

It's quite a place. I had a great time. There is lot to do. The night I was there hockey, symphony, and a civic show were all going on. There are two restaurants. One is a rooftop that is relaxed with good views of the city. The second was a little dresser. If you have a chance to eat there check out the short rib sliders!

Nice place to visit, shop and eat. My visit was in the evening between 7:00 pm and 10:00 pm. The area was not to crowded. The stores we visited, the employees were nice. I ate dinner at Conners one night and Bravo! another night. Both places were delicious. We felt safe while visiting the Bridge Street Town Centre.

My wife and I took our 4 year-old granddaughter to the Earlyworks Museum. She had a great time browsing through the various interactive activities. I'd recommend this for children ages 4 to 10; I didn't see much to engage the 2-3 age group. Two to three hours is adequate time to enjoy the various age appropriate activities. Check the website for entry fees for the various ages of visitors.

Gina is a GREAT tour guide! She is also the museum’s director. The story of (Miss) Howard Weeden, artist and poet with visual impairment, is amazing! The home has survived almost unchanged since 1819 (or thereabouts). There are several unusual features… but I won’t spoil it for you… take the tour and find them out! Stop at the Huntsville visitors center and get a discount coupon sheet for this and other sites in Huntsville. The Weeden house is also an event venue… LOVELY!!! Thanks, Gina!!!

Great job of saving the mill and utilizing the space. Worth it to see the structure inside and out. Variety of artists and mediums.
