- stephanie m3 contributionsLove Gulf shores been going since I was a little and you will love it. Southern hospitality is something you will notice from the locals. Tunes of different condos/hotels that our also right next to the public beach. Souvenir shops on almost every corner so if you need some sunblock or a cold drink you won't have to pack everything up at the public beach just walk across the street or walk the shore line over to THE HANGOUT it's a restaurant and ice cream shop with sitting areas out side or on the deck, the hangout is for people of all ages. Their is bands that play live also. Gulf shores is just a magical place.Written October 6, 2024This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of Tripadvisor LLC. - Melissa L8 contributionsThere were double red flags at the beach, so we took our 3 and 5 year old grandkids to this zoo. It took us about 2 hours, so it was just the right size for little ones considering the heat. Our favorite animals were the sloth, black bear, cappybara, and 3 banded armadillo. We did The sloth encounter bc our 5 year old loves sloths and they really enjoyed it. Of course since it's in a tourist area, entrance is expensive and the sloth encounter was an added expense so just be prepared to bust out the wallet or don't go! I saw some reviews with concerns about the animals, they appeared well cared for to me but of course I am no expert.Written June 24, 2024This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of Tripadvisor LLC. - BonSBeach25 contributionsDecent arcade. The go cart tracks are the reason to go. They’ve added some smaller tracks recently, which is nice because it spreads folks out and keeps the lines limited. Putt-putt is worth doing too.Written July 1, 2024This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of Tripadvisor LLC. Tripadvisor performs checks on reviews.

- Tansy2015Michigan408 contributionsThe birding trail is here and there, not just on one spot. Get a map at the visitor centers. Saw and heard a great many birds that I have never seen before or even heard of. Used my Merlin app to identify them by their songs!Written March 25, 2023This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of Tripadvisor LLC. - Tansy2015Michigan408 contributionsWonderful history and interpretive signs to guide your journey. Make sure to go to the top of the fort for the great views of the ocean as the boats are just about silent as they go by very close to shore.Written March 19, 2023This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of Tripadvisor LLC. - java BJasper, GA2 contributionsWe visit this dog park every day that we are in the Gulf Shore and Orange beach areas. We travel with our dogs who need to get out and run a bit. This is a friendly dog park, very popular and can be very busy at times. It’s great socialization for the dogs and often several or more dogs get up a crazy game of chase to wear them all out eventually. Mornings are a bit quieter there. Afternoons are typically pretty busy with people dropping in with their dogs after work from say 4pm on to until dusk. There is shade, two water stations for the dogs, trees and large open spaces for running and fetching, refuse bags and disposal stations as well as seating.Written June 18, 2022This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of Tripadvisor LLC. - kingdboooBrandon, MS65 contributionsThe course is fun and really shady. It’s really affordable, and it’s kept up well. I don’t know why they don’t charge more, but I’m not going to ask them!Written March 20, 2021This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of Tripadvisor LLC.
