The weather was less than agreeable on this trip and he stayed in constant contact with us to keep us informed. It doesn't matter if you have a lot of experience or none at all, Captain Joe and his son, Logan, work with you at your level of experience. The best customer service. - uhlcheezerDes Moines, IA2 contributionsWe booked at Ike's beach service and checked in at Oceania condos. All staff were very friendly from beginning to end. Our captain and deckhand were super fun and knowledgeable. They eased any or all of our fears and answered all of our ridiculous questions :) We saw dolphins, a sea turtle and a ton of jellyfish as we enjoyed our peaceful flight. Bought the photo package because we weren't able to bring our phones. Pictures were mainly quantity not quality. Our guides pointed out wildlife and answered any questions we had. It was a very laid back atmosphere. - Jen G2 contributionsWe did the 2-hour quick trip and it was so much fun! Captain Andy was so friendly and made my kids (8 and 5) feel so welcome and comfortable. He also answered all questions my husband and I had. He was very knowledgeable about marine life. We saw dolphins on the way out to the fishing spot and he stopped the boat to let us get a better look. - DonTroy, OH49 contributionsVery fun and comfortable trip! 6 of us caught about 30# of mackerel in a 4 hour trip. Captain was friendly, helpful, and knowledgeable. He worked hard to help us get our catches in, then filleted them for us as soon as we got back. Joey delivered our beach chairs, umbrellas and cooler to our condo first thing in the morning so we had everything we needed for our weekend at the beach. We rented a pontoon boat for a 4 hour sunset tour of Little Lagoon and it was spectacular! Very peaceful and beautiful views - no other boats around and gorgeous sunset views. They offered great prices. I got my paddle board within a couple of hours...free delivery and pick up. Easy transaction. They had good knowledge of the area and places to put the board in the water. Between fishing and bantering, we had a perfect Father/Son relaxing morning seeing the best sights around Orange Beach. - sreinhold48O'Fallon, MO29 contributionsWe made a reservation for the week, they delivered on time and were professional and helpful with all of our questions. They returned to pick it up Friday night. Our family had a great time with our 2-person kayak throughout the week. It was easy enough for our young teens to operate. My wife & I enjoyed taking it out early in the morning to watch for dolphins. It was so peaceful out in the water and great exercise too. We would definitely rent from them again.
Keep in mind, storing the kayak at a beach house is easy. We had friends at the Beach Club condos that also wanted to rent. I suggested they just do a day. Unfortunately, they were told that it must be a 24 hour rental, meaning you had the burden of storage overnight.
