Shakeer knew all the best places to go, to find quality products but at reasonable prices and not over inflated tourist prices. We even had great fun negotiating prices for shoes in the market with Shakeer's help! We also bought some beautiful Jaipur blue pottery and a rug. Shakeer's english is excellent and he is a very kind and helpful guide. My 12 year old daughter also had a wonderful day.

- Sally Cleaves28 contributionsWe went on a shopping tour in Jaipur with Janus tours. Had an excellent experience, Janu drove us to a jewellers and large shop selling hand block printed fabrics. He listened to our requirements and made sure we had a great variety of well made well priced products. Nothing was too much trouble and there was no pressure to purchase items. Janu is at all tomes, polite and helpful and very knowledgeable about Jaipur and suggesting places to visit. I would recommend without hesitation.

Kiran is a beautiful soul from Jaipur who passionately and enthusiastically showed me the wonders of Jaipur. Kiran’s knowledge of the history and architecture of Jaipur is plentiful and certainly not boring. Nothing was too much trouble, Kiran did not rush me around the amazing city, palaces or temples, the tour was carried out at my pace, which is refreshing having spent the previous 10 days doing many tours in Mumbai, Pune and Goa with a pace that often felt rushed and/or tick boxing 10 mins here and there just to grab a photo. Kiran took many beautiful photos and videos of me whilst I meandered the many sites on the tour in a very discreet manner.
I cannot praise Kiran and her tour format enough, after a long hot day in Jaipur I felt totally relaxed and peaceful which to my mind is entirely down to Kiran and her beautiful personality. Kiran was my tour guide this morning at the beginning of my Jaipur tour, this afternoon I am fortunate to call her my friend. We followed our plan: Royal Gator - Selfie Point, Jal Mahal - Amber Fort - Monkey Temple - Hama Mahal. From there we walked aroud. We have visited the evening "Light & Sound" show at Fort Amber. Vijay was waiting for us at Hama Mahal and brought us to the show and to our hotel.

- Renae and Paul17 contributionsOur time with Jai in Jaipur was a highlight of our India trip. Jaipur is such a beautiful city, and Jai was an exceptional guide with so much knowledge of all the places we visited, we learnt so much and got to see so many amazing sites, with the Amber Fort and Gaitor Ki Chhatriyan being a highlight. The next day we celebrated the Holi Festival with Jai and his family and friends, and it was SO much fun. Such a joyful festival, we are so glad we got to celebrate it with such a lovely bunch of locals.
Jai is a very welcoming and fun guide whose main focus was ensuring we left Jaipur with as many memories (and photos!) of the city as possible, and he certainly achieved that. It was a joy to walk around the little tiny streets, be surprised by buffalo wandering past exquisite shops and be amazed by the craftsmanship of various artisans such as a beautiful young woman making bracelets. My guide was a wonderful woman who explained the culture of Jaipur clearly and eloquently as we meandered along the little streets. I will never forget this fantastic experience as it is firmly in my memories of India. Sitting down with the charmed cobras, market marvelling, meditation in the rainforest and the piece de resistance, The Amber Fort😍. Jai is the most outstanding guide. So generous of heart and knowledge. Made our whole Indian experience the trip of a life time. He has a very good knowledge of every monument we visited in jaipur. He is a man with passion for what he is doing. He is very helpful in every aspect, never rush take enough time to take photographs and kind enough to take photos of us. His explanation about the ancient observatory is amazing. He made whole day joyful while taking us through historical places. I wish him all the best for his future endeavours.
