- S G C G9 contributionsWe were picked up by Malik right on time from the hotel. Our first stop was to try the local samosas and kachoris and we went to a big shop called Rawat which appeared very popular with the locals. The samosa was delicious and the kachori was hot and fresh from the pan. We also tried a few different sweets. We could pick what we wanted and Malik would get it for us. He was able to explain what was in each type of food.
Then we went to Gulabsi which apparently is a famous chaiwalla in Jaipur. Very pleasant garden setting in which to sip your chai.
We also tried the tandoori chicken at a restaurant called Old Take Away.
Then we went to a street with 4 cart - sellers ( they’re not really stalls) cooking up omelettes ( Indian style with bread) , fried eggs and boiled eggs. Very tasty with the added spices and sauce. This one you eat at the roadside.
Our final stop was to get some kulfi from the ice cream van in the street.
All in all it was a good variety of foods and we wouldn’t have been able to zip round all the places on our own even if we knew where to go. Malik was a good guide and we got dropped off at the hotel. The tour took 3 hours

We went to many places around the Pink City, trying different options of salty food and a dessert. All the delicacies were pretty good and interesting! The guide was kind and friendly, as the whole service provided by the company.
