This tour was an excellent way to explore North India’s highlights with no hassle, and the level of service we received throughout exceeded our expectations.
**Guides and Highlights**
Our guide at the Taj Mahal, Malik, was wonderful. He was professional, knowledgeable, and patient, guiding us in such a way we were never caught in the bustle of the tourist crowds, or standing in the hot sun. Malik knew the best spots for photos, which made our visit even more special, and staged a mini photo shoot posing us in front of the monument which was so silly but fun. The other guides also prioritized taking fantastic photos for us at their respective monuments, which we greatly appreciated. They provided great historical and cultural context for each area and answered almost all our questions. The seamless organization ensured we didn’t have to worry about finding guides or navigating the monuments ourselves, which kept the trip stress-free.
**Driver and Comfort**
Our driver, Kuldeep, was exceptional. As someone who suffers from severe carsickness, I was amazed that I didn’t even feel queasy during the entire trip. His driving made us feel so safe, and it was somehow incredibly smooth despite driving through the chaotic traffic. His professionalism and kindness stood out. Kuldeep went above and beyond, ensuring we had access to clean, comfortable bathrooms and taking us to delicious, safe food stops along the way. He also even stopped and gave me bananas to feed some monkeys!! His company was a highlight of the journey.
**Accommodations**
The 3-star accommodations were generally comfortable, but our experience at one, the Indiana Hotel, was disappointing. The staff was unprofessional, hostile and rude, and excessively loud wedding music played until 4 a.m., keeping all of us up. While weddings were happening at every hotel we stayed at, this was the only one where the festivities negatively impacted our experience. However, this was the sole low point of the trip and does not reflect the quality of the overall tour.
**Final Thoughts**
This tour offered an efficient, stress-free way to explore the Golden Triangle. The professionalism of the guides and especially our driver, Kuldeep, truly made the experience unforgettable. Aside from one accommodation issue, everything was well-organized and enjoyable. We highly recommend this tour for anyone looking to explore North India with comfort and ease.
