My husband and I had a wonderful time at Bagru learning about how this beautiful prints are created. We witnessed all the process, from selecting the fabrics, to how the colors involved are created, etc. and we even had the opportunity of meeting different members of the families that have been doing this for decades. Arpit (sp) was a very knowledgeable and patience guide that answer to all our questions and curiosities. Highly recommended if you're visiting Jaipur for a few days.

Amazing opportunity to get some hands on experience in Jaipur’s renowned craft. Prachi and Navodita ensured great hospitality and translation while Master Ji showed us the ropes. We spent many hours trying our hands at different prints until we eventually decided on the best ones for our take-home merchandise - truly a therapeutic and entertaining experience. Everyone was so warm and accommodating. Could not recommend it more!

I had 1 day off and was looking for something else to do in jaipur! I had always wanted to do this in Belgium, so I immediately wanted to participate when I saw this! Very nice people and a very nice setting, not a moment of regret that I did this! Super nice experience that I will definitely take up in Belgium! Thanks for teaching me the basics of making pots!

This was my first yoga class and the teacher was fantastic in not only teaching me yoga techniques, but also the meanings and reasons behind them. He also did not overwhelm me with information and gave me enough to understand the overall picture.

The yoga left me feeling great, and the rooftop setting was picturesque. We finished with some tea and biscuits which was a really nice touch. Can't recommend this enough! A must do if you are in Jaipur!!

We had such fun with Madhuri, an exceptionally patient and lovely instructor who taught us three really fun dances. Despite the lack of experience we had, we came out of the class laughing and leaving with dance routines to show to our friends and family! Definitely worth it and was for sure a highlight of our trip!

Amazing experience. It was cultural, unique and absolutely joyful. The details about the history of blockprint are amazing. Monty is a great guide, he describes everything with mastery and passion.
It was a cultural and very rewarding experience, as we were able to see this amazing manual work. We can give even more value to the artists who do this work and we can produce our own piece ourselves.

A highly recommended experience! Gaurav's wife Tina and their two children walked us through the process of block printing and answered our barrage of questions. They were tremendously accommodating when we notified them that we would be arriving late. Most of all, they conveyed a sense of pride in their work and their hope to preserve the tradition by introducing people to the art. They also have a small retail store on the premise; we purchased a beautiful handblock printed bedspread among other items. Really, a wonderful experience.
