We greatly enjoyed this tour. Our tour guide Shruti was lovely and provided interesting information at each stop on the tour. She also helped us take lots of pictures. Our driver Hassan ensured we got to each stop safely and comfortably! Would definitely recommend this tour.

We enjoyed this tour very much. Be aware that there 110 steps up to the caves but well worth it and the hides will stop to rest as much as needed. We had a TERRIFIC guide named Niten. He was so knowledgeable about the caves and was a superb photographer. He captured so many good memories for us.

We did a full day tour with Shuaib after finishing our cruise. With both a guide and driver, it seemed easy ( for Mumbai) to get into and out of various sites. Shuiab had an itinerary planned but was very open to change depending on our requests. he handed us of to a different guise who finished our day with a very in-depth tour of the slums.

We thoroughly enjoyed our visit to Elephanta Caves with the help of our two guides. Hari picked us up from the hotel and provided a lot of great information about Mumbai and the sights during the ferry ride to the Island. Once we arrived at the ferry stop to the Caves, Hari introduced us to Sam, our local Elephanta Island guide. They then both accompanied us on the local train/trolley that transports you from the end of the jetty to land which saves a lot of walking in the hot sun! Sam showed us around the caves and explained the history and their importance. He took some great pictures of us along the way. The carvings at the cave are very elaborate and interesting. Upon our return from the caves, Hari was waiting to accompany us back to our hotel. Great trip and we recommend both Hari and Sam!

We had ethical concerns on doing this tour. However, I would definitely recommend this to anyone visiting India. Go and see what life is like inside Mumbai's slums. This tour was awake-up call to the world's pollution and the members of society who scratch out a living recycling - which we were incredibly humbled to have witnessed. This was just one of many micro industries that existed. You will have the rare experience of seeing inside this community and how they live, how they work, and how they make a living. Go and be educated and enlightened. You'll learn many things from your guide (thank you Pooja🙏). My wife and I walked away from this experienced very humbled.

We had a great time and really enjoyed the tour. It was informative, interesting and while providing enough detail to get context about Mumbai's most important landmarks and history it was still light. Our guide was very knowledgeable and made us feel very comfortable. Being a first timer in the city and overwhelmed with what to see, this tour was a fantastic introduction. Highly recommended!

Add Elephanta to your list of great things to do around Mumbai. There's a relaxing boat trip of about an hour each way to 'get to the island (going with a tour guide can be smart since they get the boat tickets and know which queue to be in and so on). there's a very funny little train ride to the base of the hills once you get there, and then a fairly steep and hot walk up. Plenty of refreshment stops (I had a great lunch on the way back) and stalls selling souvenirs,, I stopped several times to catch my breath and watch the crowds. Finally, the main cave. Cool and dramatic and beautiful. The main carving of the multiple Shiva heads is really something to take in. Pleasant wanderings around to the next cave, but the first one is THE one. Going with a guide helped a lot - Rahil from World of Bollywood Tours made everything clear and easy to get around.

Don’t think we would have known where to start in terms of where to eat safely which is why this tour was so good. Nice to experience street food at sunset by the beach along with the locals and then head into a really busy part of the city for more food. Great to walk through the lively and busy districts to experience how everyone in Mumbai live their lives. All food delicious and neither of us got ill. Great vibe and enjoyed some tasty dishes 😋 Jenna the guide knowledgeable and kept us all
    Together which was a feat!

Perfect way to kick off our time in Bombay. Tasting all the delicious treats with our wonderful guide, Namrata.

Wonderful to see all the different types of hidden food vendors that were safe and we’d never find on our own.
