This monument and its grounds are a must visit in Delhi, to get an idea of the Mughal influence and history of the country. I would recommend taking a guide and having at least 90 minutes in hand, if not more. There’s parking across the street, from where you can purchase the tickets.
The ticket price for Indians is ₹40 (35 if you pay with a card) & ₹600 cash for foreign tourist (₹550 for a card transaction
Visited on a weekday so the queue to buy a ticket/enter the premises wasn’t too long

Swaminarayan Akshardham in Delhi is a magnificent temple complex that showcases the rich cultural and spiritual heritage of India. The architecture is awe-inspiring, with intricate carvings and beautiful gardens. The exhibitions inside provide an educational and immersive experience. It's a peaceful and serene place that offers a glimpse into Indian traditions and history. A must-see attraction in Delhi.

I have been to Delhi 10+ times over the past 6 years. On my most recent trip I discovered Lodhi Garden and fell in love. It is a beautiful park with several tombs and historic sites inside. What I love is that it doesn’t feel like you are in Delhi. You cannot hear the hustle and bustle of the city. It is a quiet oasis. I went on a Saturday and it was not crowded at all.

This Lotus Temple is a beautiful and well-maintained place to visit. There is no entry fee. However, due to its popularity, it can be quite crowded and involve long queues to get inside. The architectural of this lotus temple is awesome.

We think this the essence of India, well away from the regular tourist traps. We know this because this is a very busy area with all the locals going about their business. Our tour guide arranged a Tuk Tuk to transport us about 1 kilometre from where the bus parked to the marker proper. It is very organised in an Indian way. With local vendors selling their wares in front of little shops that open around 10.00am. Once this time passes they disappear and the shop behind starts up. Let us be direct by western standards the smells are just plain awful, but from the locals perspective that is normal. A spice shop we stood in front of was nearly overpowering from the many ground and whole spices on display. The streets are chaotic with Tuk Tuks, motorbikes, wheelbarrows, people, cars, cows, bulls and finally tourists all trying to navigate the broken and uneven ground. To sum up terrific and a must see. Just do not miss the spaghetti of wires where power is distributed, just crazy but apparently safe!!!!

Huge and beautiful, Rashtrapati Bhawan strikes you with its grandeur as it comes into view from afar. The walk from there to India Gate is just astounding for the superb views all around.

My recent visit to the Bateel store near me in Select City Walk Mall was a truly delightful experience. The store boasted an impressive array of gourmet dates, chocolates, and other delicacies, all of which were masterfully packaged and presented. The staff were not only friendly but also remarkably well-informed, assisting me in finding the ideal gift for a dear friend. The overall shopping experience was fantastic, and I was struck by the meticulous attention to detail, from the packaging to the product quality. I wholeheartedly endorse the Bateel store to anyone seeking exceptional and opulent gifts or simply indulgent treats for themselves.

Located right in the heart of the New Delhi, Connaught place is a busting hive of activity. Before the bazaars, stalls and dining establishments sprouted around Connaught place, the area was all about Cinemas. In the 1920's it wasn't Bollywood and Hollywood shows that has the spotlight. It was built under British rule between 1929 and 1933. Robert Tor Russell designed this British Commercial center in collaboration with W H Nicholls. It is Circular and known as the largest commercial hub of its king in India.
It was named after Prince Arthur, 1st Duke of Connaught, third son of Queen Victoria and uncle of King George VI of England, who visited India in 1921.
The area in and around Connaught place is a shopper's Paradise. The Market is divided into two circles. Inner circle and outer circle. The inner circle comprises of Blocks A to F. All Major brands outlets are available in Inner Circle. The outer Circle of Connaught place consist of Block G to P having all big Show rooms.

This magnificent street is perfect for an evening walk all the way to India Gate. It was especially filled with the spirit of national pride in the days preceding the Republic Day holiday in January.
