This is an amazing sight. It’s no wonder it’s the no 1 attraction! To my shame, I knew next to nothing about it so having a guide was really the way to get the most out of it. I really valued the background the guide offered, it was an amazing attraction!

This is the most amazing site I have ever seen. The white marble interior and the gold and precious stones combine to make the temple sparkle. No cameras allowed inside but one for the memory bank. If possible take nothing with you except water or you will queue for a long time to put your bags n storage.

Beautiful tomb, and large grounds which are also worth exploring. This site was not crowded. It is worthwhile walking up on to the terrace around the actual tomb, and then entering the mausoleum itself. Unlike the Taj Mahal, you can take pictures inside the mausoleum (or at least the guide thought it was fine).

Some other reviews have talked about coming by public transit, which is definitely possible, but coming by taxi is far easier!

This was the first place I saw the two-price system for foreigners vs. Indian citizens, but that seems to be quite standard at Indian tourist attractions.

Very worthwhile. The nearby Sunder nursery (park) is also worthwhile exploring if you are in the area anyway.

India Gate is truly one of the most impressive and iconic landmarks in Delhi! Standing tall in the heart of the city, it is a beautiful tribute to the brave soldiers who gave their lives for the nation. The architecture is awe-inspiring, and the significance of the monument adds so much depth to the experience.

Walking around the India Gate, especially in the evening, is a wonderful experience. The monument is beautifully lit at night, creating a magical atmosphere. The surrounding lawns are perfect for relaxing or enjoying a picnic with family and friends. The Amar Jawan Jyoti, the eternal flame, is a poignant reminder of the sacrifices made by soldiers, and it adds a sense of solemnity to the visit.

It's a great place for a peaceful walk, and the wide streets and open spaces give you a break from the busy city. Whether you're a tourist or a local, India Gate is a must-visit destination, offering a blend of history, beauty, and tranquility. I highly recommend taking time to visit this landmark and soak in the experience!

Surprisingly, this park is free - and also surprisingly, it was not overly crowded (although it was a weekday, which was likely a factor). It is nicely landscaped, and a great place to wander. As with many Indian parks, there are tombs scattered throughout the park, and there is also a small lake. If you are lucky, you may see a couple getting there wedding pictures taken, as it seems to be a favourite spot for that.

There are a few wild dogs roaming around, and some monkey packs, but if you keep your distance they are not troublesome.

It was fun to watch several Indian extended families on an outing (especially the grandparents enjoying being with their grandchildren).

If I were to return, I would do a bit of research first, as the tombs all have some history associated with them, and there are no explanatory plaques.

This temple is very beautiful and worth visiting while you're in Delhi. It is very quiet and peaceful inside. Placing our shoes and the long que outside took too long and was a bit annoying but we're unsure if this happens everyday.

It was a long queue for buying the ticket ,it was a busy day but we did it after a bit of hassle, it was an incredible experience to see the oldest fort of delhi. We really admire the architecture and diwan e aam and khas court. Our India is full of rich architecture and culture.one should visit this place and see how things have changed by the time and as the fort has changed.

We found so much new about the Rashtrapati Bhawan. It was interesting finding out about the various rooms, their purposes, practices in the Bhawan, the regional culture and gifts received and stored in the museum.

A decent shopping area where you’ll not be harassed by hawkers or other people. Not inexpensive, but some nice stores and places to get a coffee or meal. It’s not as overcrowded as some other market areas.

They charge an entry fee to enter the market which is very unusual. A lot of options for food and drinks are available there. Most shops are run by kashmiri guys.
